June 2016 Bits and Bites: Paul Fromm, Robert Reitmeier, Tyler Sturrup, Canadians United 4 Canada, and Assault on Muslim Woman

A few things have occurred over the past few days that we figure warrant some discussion, though not necessarily stand alone posts.

First on the agenda is another example of Paulie having a bad day, which is generally a good day for most people. He was scheduled to give a speech in Victoria, however the manager contacted him to let Paulie know he was't welcome. Paulie accepted the news with the quiet dignity he is well known for:

Or he whined and claimed his free speech rights have been curtailed while presenting the event as an epic struggle for freedom of expression. I mean, either way, right?

His commentators did very little to dissuade anyone from believing that Paulie is the racist that the good folks at the Waddling Dog know him to be:

Speaking of disgusting racists, more good news:

Neo-Nazi's bid for reduced murder sentence quashed
BILL KAUFMANN
More from Bill Kaufmann

Robert Reitmeier’s bid for a reduction of his 13-year sentence for beating to death a bystander was tossed out Tuesday by a panel of justices.

The neo-Nazi skinhead was seeking a sentence more in line with his co-defendant, Tyler Sturrup, who was handed a 10-year stint in prison after pleading guilty to fatally stomping Mark Mariani on Oct. 3, 2010.

Sitting in the prisoner’s box with an SS rune tattoo on his right cheek, Reitmeier showed little emotion when Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Ronald Berger delivered the trio’s unanimous ruling after only about 10 minutes of deliberation.

Nice to know that Reitmeier will spend at least 13 years rotting in prison. We're guessing that it will likely be more.

In the meantime, Tyler Sturrup, who was also convicted of Mr. Mariani's murder, continues to feel sorry for himself in prison:

We're assuming someone is posting Sturrup's messages and that he doesn't have access to Facebook in prison, but posts like these probably won't help his case when he applies for parole:

Yeah, Sturrup is the real victim apparently.

We also decided to take a look at what the members of some of the Canadian Islamophobic groups were up to these days.

This past Sunday we read an article posted by the CBC regarding the most recent act of Islamophobic harassment/vandalism:

Pig's head left outside Quebec City mosque with 'bon appétit' note
Islamic cultural centre of Quebec City was also target of xenophobic messages, vandalism in 2014
CBC News Posted: Jun 19, 2016 10:30 PM ET Last Updated: Jun 19, 2016 10:31 PM ET

In the middle of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, a regular at a Quebec City mosque finished a prayer in the early hours of Sunday only to find a pig's head at the doorstep as he was leaving.

The package, found in front of one of the doors of the Islamic cultural centre of Quebec City around 2:30 a.m., was accompanied by a note: "Bon appétit."
....
But though the centre has a good relationship with its neighbours, Yangui said the four mosques in the Quebec City area are vandalized once a year on average.

In November 2014, three of those mosques, including the one Yangui presides over, became the targets of xenophobic messages when a group plastered posters on their front doors that read "Islam hors de chez moi," or in English, "Islam out of my country."

Knowing full well that this news would make an appearance on at least one of the anti-government/anti-Muslim Facebook sites we've been watching, we decided to take a look at the reaction of the folks on Canadians United 4 Canada.

In fact, we'll let our readers try to figure out how they reacted.

Did the members of Canadians United 4 Canada:
a. Condemn Justin Trudeau for the incident, claiming he's responsible for others' poor decisions "real Canadians'" anger.
b. Celebrate the incident and hope for more of a similar nature.
c. Gleefully anticipate an escalation of such incidents culminating in violet retribution against Muslim-Canadians.
d. Dehumanize Muslim-Canadians using poor spelling.
e. Suggest this incident was a false-flag which was really instigated by the government/Muslims/antifa.

Trick question. It is, of course, "all of the above":

Still as nutty as a soup sandwich.

So far though, we haven't seen any reaction to this story:

Muslim woman attacked in London, Ont., grocery store, police say
This is the fourth reported event against visible minorities in the city in the past eight months
CBC News Posted: Jun 21, 2016 1:33 PM ET Last Updated: Jun 21, 2016 6:37 PM ET

A Muslim woman shopping with her four-month-old son was attacked in a London, Ont., supermarket Monday, according to police.

The woman was at the Superking Supermarket at 785 Wonderland Rd. S. at approximately 5 p.m. when another woman approached her and began yelling at her for no apparent reason, police said.

The woman, unknown to the shopper, allegedly spat on the victim, punched her several times and then pulled at the victim's hijab and hair, police said.
....
The victim sustained minor injuries.

The woman who committed the assault at least stood still long enough for a few really good (and identifying) photos:

Police are looking for a woman standing five feet five inches and weighing 150 pounds. She is about 40 years old with a medium build, long black hair pulled back in a ponytail. She was wearing a red Canada T-shirt and black pants and was carrying a green purse.

Police say the suspect spoke with a "heavy accent," but they are unsure what language she was speaking.

Should any of our readers in London, Ontario who find out who this woman is, we would love to hear from you.
