Key may refer to:
In ecclesiastical heraldry, papal coats of arms (those of individual popes) and those of the Holy See and Vatican City State include an image of crossed keys to represent the metaphorical keys of the office of Saint Peter, the keys of heaven, or the keys of the kingdom of Heaven, that, according to Roman Catholic teaching,Jesus promised to Saint Peter, empowering him to take binding actions. In the Gospel of Matthew 16:19, Jesus says to Peter, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
The keys of heaven or keys of Saint Peter are seen as a symbol of papal authority: "Behold he [Peter] received the keys of the kingdom of heaven, the power of binding and loosing is committed to him, the care of the whole Church and its government is given to him [cura ei totius Ecclesiae et principatus committitur (Epist., lib. V, ep. xx, in P.L., LXXVII, 745)]".
Saint Peter is often depicted in Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox paintings and other artwork as holding a key or a set of keys. The general layout of St Peter's Basilica also is roughly key-shaped; evocative of the keys entrusted to Saint Peter. Since the 16th century a symbolical pair of keys is created for every pope and buried on death with him.
The Keys to the Kingdom is a fantasy–adventure book series written by Garth Nix, published in seven books between 2003 and 2010. The series chronicles the adventures of Arthur Penhaligon, an asthmatic 12-year-old boy who is chosen to become the Rightful Heir of the House, the center of the universe. The core storyline involves Arthur attempting to defeat the Morrow Days, the criminal Trustees of the House. The series takes place over a span of three weeks (time moves at different speeds at different locations in the series).
The series' protagonist is an asthmatic 12-year-old boy, Arthur Penhaligon. The series begins on a Monday, with the main events starting a week later on the next Monday. Each book moves onto the next day of the week, over the course of about three weeks in Earth time, concluding on a Sunday. Each day features beings, collectively known as the Trustees, who each govern a portion of the House, which is the center of the Universe. The seven demesnes of the House are, in the order Arthur visits them: the Lower House, the Far Reaches, the Border Sea, the Great Maze, the Middle House, the Upper House, and the Incomparable Gardens.
Kingdom of Heaven may refer to:
"Keys to the Kingdom" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park from their sixth studio album, The Hunting Party. It has entered the UK Rock chart at number 33, although it hasn't been released as a single. The song was written by the band and produced by co-lead vocalist Mike Shinoda and lead guitarist Brad Delson.
"Keys to the Kingdom" is explained in an early preview for the album as, "Right off the bat this track has an old-school punk vibe with a new twist. The hasty drums and explosive riffs [add] a hardcore element to it. Vocalist Chester Bennington unleashes melodies and the balance of Shinoda’s rap verses makes for a powerful combination. Although the band will be playing arenas on their forthcoming Carnivores tour, this song has an underground feel that would welcome them to a small, beat up venue in Brooklyn, N.Y."
In a track-by-track review for the album, by Billboard the song is given positive review and explained as, Quite fittingly, the album opens with Bennington's hysterical screaming — "No control! No surprise!" — and hammering drums from Rob Bourdon. Then the guitars hit, and Linkin Park are off on a hardcore punk tear, at least for the intro. Shinoda's verses pull things back into nu-metal terrain, and as he does his best to sell Linkin Park's back-to-basics approach.

I'm walking a new walk
I'll never be the same again
Dancing a new dance in
Your Holy Spirit Rain
Your breath of life has overwhelmed me
and set my spirit free
I'm living a new life, underneath Your morning star
Running a new race,in the shadow of Your love
Your love is immeasurable, too deep to comprehend
My Jesus,dream-maker
My Jesus, live-giver
I'm living under the Kiss of Heaven,
and I'll never ever be the same again
I'm singing a new song in the presence of The King
Giving You my heart
That is all that I can bring
You lit a fire inside of me
That I thought would never burn again
I thank You,my Father, for all You've done
And all You're going to do
My past behind me and You before me
I press on for more
Im living in the embrace of Heaven
