Five people have been injured after a serious crash on the Kwinana Freeway, in which two cars caught fire.
The incident occurred in the northbound lanes near Rowley Road.

Three cars were involved in the crash, a Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said.
Two fire trucks, and eight fire fighters were needed to put out the blazes, which broke out just before midday.

The freeway northbound was closed, but ha snow reopened.
However, southbound drivers in the area of the crash scene are now slowing up after a crash, with the southbound lane closed to traffic near Rowley Road.
