Sunday Live

Sunday Live was a Sunday morning regional current affairs programme, broadcast on Scottish TV in Central Scotland and Grampian TV in the North (now both known as STV).

Stephen Jardine, a former Scotland Today newsreader (later co-host of STV's The Hour), fronted the programme, interviewing some of Scotland's best-known public figures and politicians. Louise White filled in for Stephen when he was away. A second series was planned for the Autumn of 2006, although the show never returned.

T. B. Joshua

Temitope Balogun Joshua (born June 12, 1963), commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua, is a Nigerian prophet. He is the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a religious organisation that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos, Nigeria.

He has been awarded various accolades, notably receiving the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Nigerian government in 2008 and being voted the Yoruba man of the decade by Pan-Yoruba media outlet Irohin-Odua. He was recognised as one of Africa's 50 most influential people by Pan-African magazines The Africa Report and New African Magazine and listed among the world's most famous people by the website thefamouspeople.com.

Joshua is known for his popularity across Africa and his online presence, with over 1,500,000 fans on Facebook and hundreds of YouTube videos which have proved controversial and amassed millions of views.As of 2011, according to Forbes, Joshua was Nigeria’s third-richest pastor.

Emmanuel TV is one of Africa's largest Christian television networks with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, founded by T.B. Joshua, Pastor of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

History

Since its inception in 2006, Emmanuel TV has broadcast Christian programmes, stating that its mission is 'to preach the Good News to all mankind.' Its playout centre is located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Emmanuel TV broadcasts a range of programmes from The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, including live events such as the weekly SCOAN Saturday and Sunday Services and Wednesday healing services, international crusades with Prophet TB Joshua, extensive charitable activities, messages claimed to be prophetic on both personal and international levels, claimed healing testimonies, regular teaching and preaching from TB Joshua and SCOAN Wisemen, and programs dedicated to youth and children.

Joshua /ˈdʒɒʃuə/ or Jehoshua (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yĕhôshúʿa or Hebrew: יֵשׁוּעַ Yĕshúʿa; Aramaic: ܝܫܘܥ‎ Isho; Greek: Ἰησοῦς, Arabic: يوشع بن نون‎ Yūshaʿ ibn Nūn; Latin: Iosue, Turkish: Yuşa), is a figure in the Torah, being one of the spies for Israel (Num 13–14) and identified in several passages as Moses' assistant. He is the central figure in the Hebrew Bible's Book of Joshua. According to the books of Exodus, Numbers and Joshua, he became the leader of the Israelite tribes after the death of Moses. His name was Hoshe'a (הוֹשֵׁעַ) the son of Nun, of the tribe of Ephraim, but Moses called him Yehoshu'a (יְהוֹשֻעַ; Joshua in English) (Numbers 13:16) the name by which he is commonly known. The name is shortened to Yeshua in Nehemiah (Nehemiah 8:17). According to the Bible he was born in Egypt prior to the Exodus.

He was one of the twelve spies of Israel sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan. (Numbers 13:1-16) After the death of Moses, he led the Israelite tribes in the conquest of Canaan, and allocated the land to the tribes. According to Biblical chronology, Joshua lived between 1355-1245 BCE, or sometime in the late Bronze Age. According to Joshua 24:29, Joshua died at the age of 110.
