"FAW-VW came to us to produce a new viral video to promote the golf GTI in china. The brief was to create a aggressive, new school video, that showcased the car in a "out of this world" environment and go beyond the limitations of live action shooting."

"With this project I wanted to do something really cool for GTi given it's dual role as a brand icon for VW as well as being simply a great car. The Inter-Galactic Grand Prix platform had a clear objective: reconfirm GTis position as THE cult urban sports car and engage the target customer group of young affluent urban males.
It centers around fantastic driving fun which is the essence of GTi. The tag line "Driving which is out of this world" works on two levels, projecting GTi into a futuristic fantasy world that resonates with the target audience and demonstrating it's winning performance credentials.
The execution is deliberately fast paced, high-adrenalin and sexy, creating an engaging and addictive world familiar to gamers.
The digital format meant we could run long with the movie unrestricted by media cost considerations and it's perfect for sharing to get the maximum online reach. The teaser phase used targeted online messages to direct people to the site.
DMG were the ideal partners to execute. Under the direction of Kai and Jason Kirby and the team of digital wizards worked their magic. The team had so much passion and talent they totally nailed the brief.
So a cut-through piece of work that will drive the desirability and awareness of GTi with it's influential target audience and no question will help sell cars.
No surprise that it has already driven our website hits to record levels nearly crashing the site."

Ideal World
Ideal World is a shopping channel in the UK whose sister shopping channels include Ideal Extra, Create and Craft and Craft Extra. It is owned by Ideal Shopping Direct Plc. Their sister health and beauty channel, Vitality, closed early in 2008. Ideal Shopping Direct also sell plants and flowers through Garden Bargains.com and pet and pet supplies/accessories via lovepets.co.uk (formerly known as Animal Bargains.com). The channel broadcasts from its studios in Peterborough. Ideal World currently broadcasts live 17 hours a day, with Create and Craft live 9 hours a day.
History
Founded in the 1980s as a mail order company selling products via national press adverts and consumer exhibitions The company was then called Wrightway Marketing and was run by Paul Wright and his business partner Val Kaye. The company later produced its own catalogues, inserted into the Daily Mail, and sold at the Ideal Home exhibition.
In 1999, land was bought in Peterborough with a view to building premises to serve as live TV studios, offices, warehousing, and a call centre. Ideal World was launched on 17 April 2000 on digital satellite broadcasting 24 hours a day. A pre-launch documentary was recorded by a documentary team from Channel 4, charting the channel's launch onto Sky and featuring the main management of the time and the Presentation team of Paul Lavers, Debbie Flint and Steve Whatley, and was called "Telly Sales".

"FAW-VW came to us to produce a new viral video to promote the golf GTI in china. The brief was to create a aggressive, new school video, that showcased the car in a "out of this world" environment and go beyond the limitations of live action shooting."

"With this project I wanted to do something really cool for GTi given it's dual role as a brand icon for VW as well as being simply a great car. The Inter-Galactic Grand Prix platform had a clear objective: reconfirm GTis position as THE cult urban sports car and engage the target customer group of young affluent urban males.
It centers around fantastic driving fun which is the essence of GTi. The tag line "Driving which is out of this world" works on two levels, projecting GTi into a futuristic fantasy world that resonates with the target audience and demonstrating it's winning performance credentials.
The execution is deliberately fast paced, high-adrenalin and sexy, creating an engaging and addictive world familiar to gamers.
The digital format meant we could run long with the movie unrestricted by media cost considerations and it's perfect for sharing to get the maximum online reach. The teaser phase used targeted online messages to direct people to the site.
DMG were the ideal partners to execute. Under the direction of Kai and Jason Kirby and the team of digital wizards worked their magic. The team had so much passion and talent they totally nailed the brief.
So a cut-through piece of work that will drive the desirability and awareness of GTi with it's influential target audience and no question will help sell cars.
No surprise that it has already driven our website hits to record levels nearly crashing the site."

Nokta . (Dot .) is an abstract short film project which is an improvisation of organic pieces and themes like power, control and luck. Using low-budget equipment and with the combination of actual camera shooting, 2d and 3d animation techniques, the film alters the reality and physics of the real world with the help of the liquid and dynamic simulations’ impact.
Even though the film is not produced according to the base of Amos Funkenstein’s text on harmony, but the text is a convenient statement for the stylistic and representational behaviour of the film.
'I see some correspondence between the foundation of universal harmony on elliptical orbit and the predilection for the elliptic forms in Baroque architecture. In both cases harmony is still defined as unity within multiplicity, but it ceased to be static, namely, harmony expressed in one ideal geometrical form, and became so to speak dynamic. What was previously regarded as the deviation from the ideal form, was comprehended for the first time as an integral part of the form, or form of forms, which are capable of endless transitions one into another. This project was started on Veterans day 2014. I think of all the sacrifices that have been made for a cause, country, or movement. My grandfather, Bud Bolton, was in WW2 and he fought for something that he thought was right. I am not an expert on politics or geopolitical issues but I am grateful for the sacrifices these people have made - to try and make the world that I live in a better place.

I just can't seem to find the right words to describe this monument: weird, bizare, bombastic, infantil, ... , but certainly interesting.
Wether one finds it an example of "naïve art" or just "ordinary kitsch", one can only feel a deep admiration for the gigantic work that has been delivered here, by one man all alone, just to realize a dream he once had as a child: 33 years, 10.000 days or 93.000 hours !!!
Driving this summer to the south of France, and for a change taking the old N7 instead of the A7 toll highway, we passed through the Lyon-Vienne region, and seeing the publicity panels alongside the road I suddenly remembered an excellent video that Patrick Cleiren has made about the Palace some time ago (http://www.vimeo.com/1045778). As we had all the time in the world, we decided to make an extra stop and this is something we did not regret. See for yourself and tell us what you think of it.

Hong Kong, China (January 1, 2012) - SLR Magic opens up the M mount lens lineup with the new SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 ultra fast normal focal length lens. The world's fastest interchangeable camera lens with an image circle beyond full frame coverage in its focal length, the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 concept lens will be publicly available for experience testing in September 2012 at Photokina in Cologne, Germany.
The field of view of this new HyperPrime Lens corresponds to a 50mm lens in 35mm format. It is optimized to be shot wide open. This ultra fast normal focal length prime lens opens up many new creative composition opportunities, particularly in the fields of available light, in portrait, and street cinematography. Built with modern non aspherical lens technology, the lens excels at defocusing busy backgrounds at T0.95. A minimum focus distance of 0.70m allows for artistic bokeh effect. A fast maximum aperture of T0.95 makes the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 ideal for available-light photography.

"FAW-VW came to us to produce a new viral video to promote the golf GTI in china. The brief was to create a aggressive, new school video, that showcased the car in a "out of this world" environment and go beyond the limitations of live action shooting."

"With this project I wanted to do something really cool for GTi given it's dual role as a brand icon for VW as well as being simply a great car. The Inter-Galactic Grand Prix platform had a clear objective: reconfirm GTis position as THE cult urban sports car and engage the target customer group of young affluent urban males.
It centers around fantastic driving fun which is the essence of GTi. The tag line "Driving which is out of this world" works on two levels, projecting GTi into a futuristic fantasy world that resonates with the target audience and demonstrating it's winning performance credentials.
The execution is deliberately fast paced, high-adrenalin and sexy, creating an engaging and addictive world familiar to gamers.
The digital format meant we could run long with the movie unrestricted by media cost considerations and it's perfect for sharing to get the maximum online reach. The teaser phase used targeted online messages to direct people to the site.
DMG were the ideal partners to execute. Under the direction of Kai and Jason Kirby and the team of digital wizards worked their magic. The team had so much passion and talent they totally nailed the brief.
So a cut-through piece of work that will drive the desirability and awareness of GTi with it's influential target audience and no question will help sell cars.
No surprise that it has already driven our website hits to record levels nearly crashing the site."

Nokta . (Dot .) is an abstract short film project which is an improvisation of organic pieces and themes like power, control and luck. Using low-budget equipment and with the combination of actual camera shooting, 2d and 3d animation techniques, the film alters the reality and physics of the real world with the help of the liquid and dynamic simulations’ impact.
Even though the film is not produced according to the base of Amos Funkenstein’s text on harmony, but the text is a convenient statement for the stylistic and representational behaviour of the film.
'I see some correspondence between the foundation of universal harmony on elliptical orbit and the predilection for the elliptic forms in Baroque architecture. In both cases harmony is still defined as unity within multiplicity, but it ceased to be static, namely, harmony expressed in one ideal geometrical form, and became so to speak dynamic. What was previously regarded as the deviation from the ideal form, was comprehended for the first time as an integral part of the form, or form of forms, which are capable of endless transitions one into another. This project was started on Veterans day 2014. I think of all the sacrifices that have been made for a cause, country, or movement. My grandfather, Bud Bolton, was in WW2 and he fought for something that he thought was right. I am not an expert on politics or geopolitical issues but I am grateful for the sacrifices these people have made - to try and make the world that I live in a better place.

I just can't seem to find the right words to describe this monument: weird, bizare, bombastic, infantil, ... , but certainly interesting.
Wether one finds it an example of "naïve art" or just "ordinary kitsch", one can only feel a deep admiration for the gigantic work that has been delivered here, by one man all alone, just to realize a dream he once had as a child: 33 years, 10.000 days or 93.000 hours !!!
Driving this summer to the south of France, and for a change taking the old N7 instead of the A7 toll highway, we passed through the Lyon-Vienne region, and seeing the publicity panels alongside the road I suddenly remembered an excellent video that Patrick Cleiren has made about the Palace some time ago (http://www.vimeo.com/1045778). As we had all the time in the world, we decided to make an extra stop and this is something we did not regret. See for yourself and tell us what you think of it.

The field of view of this new HyperPrime Lens corresponds to a 50mm lens in 35mm format. It is optimized to be shot wide open. Hong Kong, China (January 1, 2012) - SLR Magic opens up the M mount lens lineup with the new SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 ultra fast normal focal length lens. The world's fastest interchangeable camera lens with an image circle beyond full frame coverage in its focal length, the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 concept lens will be publicly available for experience testing in September 2012 at Photokina in Cologne, Germany.
The field of view of this new HyperPrime Lens corresponds to a 50mm lens in 35mm format. It is optimized to be shot wide open. This ultra fast normal focal length prime lens opens up many new creative composition opportunities, particularly in the fields of available light, in portrait, and street cinematography. Built with modern non aspherical lens technology, the lens excels at defocusing busy backgrounds at T0.95. A minimum focus distance of 0.70m allows for artistic bokeh effect. A fast maximum aperture of T0.95 makes the SLR Magic HyperPrime CINE 50mm T0.95 ideal for available-light photography.
