Aaron Lethlean overcame personal difficulties through VU’s pathways support to graduate with a degree in nursing.

“I chose VU as there were pathway options and support available in academic writing, literacy and numeracy. VU disability services also assisted me in developing a plan to support my needs while maintaining fairness, and the nursing staff offered an understanding environment.

I am currently a graduate registered nurse at Royal Melbourne Hospital. My long-term goal is to return to postgraduate studies and specialise. Education is the key to improve knowledge as healthcare in the 20th Century is so complex."

You are guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Paramedicine if you have successfully completed:

• HLT51015 - Diploma of Paramedical Science (with half a year (4 credits) granted)
• Bachelor of Nursing (with over a year and a half (13 credits) granted). If students have completed a graduate year in an acute care setting they are eligible for an additional 1 credit.
