Chile

September 2017

We are very happy to be working on a new friendship and engagement in Chile.

Commencing by learning about the rich cultural traditions and history of the Mapuche in Santiago, we’ll then head to Gorbea village to take part in a local agricultural group meeting in Freire, a youth & social enterprise discussion in Pitrufquen, and a renewables and climate change discussion in Campo. We’ll be accommodated in farm stays, cabins in local forests, and the traditional Ruka of the Mapuches.

The local communities who will host and welcome us are really looking forward to us coming and have asked us specifically to engage with them in conversation about the challenges and aspirations they have for the future.

This will be an exciting new journey for CERES Global in beautiful and exotic Chile. Join us in learning and sharing ideas for future collaboration.
