Cheap flights from Australia to Asia: Scoot and Tigerair launch massive sale

Winter is coming: plan your escape before Scoot-Tigerair launch their massive sale on tickets to Asia on Thursday.

Called the "Take me where? Anywhere!" sale, you can grab a bargain fare to anywhere in southeast Asia.

The budget airlines are pushing their less well-travelled destinations such as Philippines and Myanmar, where along with their partners, are offering cheap deals on accommodation.

Flights to Yangon, Myanmar's capital, will be going for as little as $209 from Melbourne and Sydney, and accommodation at the Ibis Styles Yangon Stadium includes breakfast for $80 per night.

Alternatively you could head to the white-sand beaches of Boracay in the Philippines, where tickets are also going on sale for $209 from Sydney and Melbourne.

Popular destinations such as Thailand and the Malaysia will also be up for grabs.

You can snap up fares to Phuket for $179, or get to Langkawi for as little as $159 from Melbourne and Sydney.

The sale starts on Thursday April 20 at 12 noon AEST and runs for four days ending Monday 24 April at 1.59am.
