Only an 800 metre walk to Sorrento village with cafes, restaurants and art all close to hand, these newly renovated cottages are nestled privately among mature trees offering you the rare opportunity of being close to nature while being perfectly positioned to take advantage of all the best the Sorrento and the Mornington Peninsula have to offer.

These two fully self-contained private cottages also offer all the comforts of home. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and the other with 2 King Single beds. Perfect for a lazy summer barbeque,or for relaxing after a long day at the beach the cottages are only 2km from Sorrento back beach and 1km from the Queenscliff Ferry and the peaceful child-friendly Sorrento front beach.

In winter, enjoy curling up by the log fire and drinking an exquisite wine from the region while savouring the fresh local produce the Peninsula is famous for. Situated opposite Sorrento Golf Club on a quiet service road the cottages are ideal for family holidays, golf weekends, girls or boys weekends and couple getaways. Or they can simply be the perfect place to unwind from the stresses of modern life.

We have stayed in lots of boutique accommodation and would say we are pretty fussy with high expectations in terms of cleanliness, modern, comfort and well thought out. We had previously to date not found anywhere that met or exceeded those expectations that allowed (with prior arrangement) us to bring our small well behaved dog - Balinga Cottages definitely exceeded all expectations - From communication with Jill & Dave in booking, to the cottages themselves. The cottages are fresh, modern, warm, cosy, beautifully decorated and extremely homely. We stayed the two nights and were given a beautiful organic gourmet breakfast basket! There are lots of extras you wouldn't normally get in other places in terms of bathroom & kitchen products etc - The place and its contents (cutlery/plates etc) were spotless. The log fire was awesome - There were plenty of books, games and magazines - Lots of local information - The bed comfortable plus - User friendly appliances with well set out instructions- The shower with nice water flow rather than the trickly you get in some places. Additional bathroom heater for those crisp mornings - It was a short 5 min walk to the main street with lots of trendy cafes/restaurants and the beaches - We really cant fault it at all and have already made plans for two return bookings. Jill & Dave themselves are lovely and very down to earth and give you the right amount of privacy, but also there if you need them! Thanks Jill & Dave! From a stylish kitchen and living room, to bedrooms that were neat yet cosy. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back again!
