Perth driver cleaned up by Transperth bus in dash cam footage

A Transperth bus has cleaned up a Perth motorist in embarrassing dash cam footage posted to Dash Cam Owners Australia's Facebook page.

It seems to be a phenomenon out west- indicating doesn't mean 'signifying your intention' like basic road rules would have you believe. Instead it seems to mean 'I expect everyone to give way to me'.

Car vs bus caught on dashcam

A car veers into a bus lane on the causeway causing a crash and an interesting response from the dashcam owner. Vision: Dash Cam Owners Australia.

One CBD driver perfectly illustrated the Perth driver complex in a video filmed on Wednesday afternoon, when they attempted to change lanes near the Burswood causeway.

The driver signalled to change lanes, and failed to spot the approaching Transperth bus. The vehicle clipped the front of the bus, lost its bumper, and careered into the left-hand lane.

The driver emerged from the car and looked shaken, but uninjured.

The Perth man who submitted the footage said he believed the driver had been lost and attempted to execute a U turn.

Perth, let this video be a lesson to you. Indicating is important, and bus lanes are for buses.
