Nice. This compendium will make it easy for us to reference good member insights made during each of the days.

That's the idea. I guess you could look at the author's post history of submitted threads, but this makes it easier to sidebar the whole thing.

Whenever I have an experience or insight related to one of the laws, I'll definitely come back and add it to the thread - keep the discussions alive and relevant.

We should hold something like this once every year.

I recently read The Art of Worldly Wisdom. It has a format and theme similar to the 48 Laws of Power. Written in the 1600s, but still very relevant.

It mostly contains practical, strategical advice. How to socialize and politic effectively. A bit of commentary on moral virtues thrown in, as it was written by a Catholic priest, but without excessive prudishness.

Highly recommended reading for the RP man.

I have this book. It's great.

Gracian, Nietzsche and whoever wrote that Craft of Power book are the main seminal works of 48Laws. Gracian and Nietzsche are particularly amazing writers.

Thank you, I just start reading this whenever I have a free moment in the day. I've read up to day 14 so far.

The final post, "Assume Formlessness" is done! That will complete this. Thanks for putting this together.

Thanks again for doing that. I just added my TOC thread to the sidebar and stickied it.

Props to you sir for sticking with the whole list. Thanks very much, I've been reading the book, but this has broken it down in a digestible format with side orders of TRP insight in the comments. Excellent.

Wow, thanks so much for doing this. Somehow I've only just noticed this.

Awesome stuff.

The first sentence is no longer applicable now that it's complete and on the sidebar:

Here's a list of the continuing 48 Days of Power series by /u/pjewa. Once completed I'll be adding it to the sidebar.

What is most challenging about this list is that individually you know they are all true and if you focus your attention on any one of them you can execute it's meaning effectively in your life.

It's when you try to embody the entire list in your life at all times that it gets hard.

One could spend their entire life perfecting this and always have room to improve.
