The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is ready for the night.
The German giant has revealed details of its latest addition to the luxury executive sedan, the limited run Night Edition package. Building on the popularity of the brand's AMG styling kits the Night Edition adds extra elements to the Vision Package with AMG Line.
Unique elements for the Night Edition include a panoramic sunroof, head-up display and Burmester sound system and are added to AMG Line package that brings the sports bodykit and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Other features of the Night Edition models are black styling elements on the mirrors, rear lights and exhaust surrounds as well as heated leather seats.
The Night Edition is only available on the E200 and E220d models for an addition $8900. That takes their respective prices to $98,900 (E200) and $101,800 (E220d) plus on-road and dealer costs.
The E200 is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 135kW and 300Nm. The E220d has a 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine under its bonnet that produces 143kW and 400Nm.

Does it mean the driver in this Merc can see other cars without their headlights on at night? Seems to be the trend at the moment in Brisbane and Sydney (haven't been to Melbourne lately, may the same there)

I'm with Jimmy G and quite a few others in industry - when is the Drive Team going to get their act together? Tired of your copy and paste of content. Lame and boring reporting!
