Chaos broke out at an Easter event hosted by a Gold Coast church when a helicopter dropped chocolate eggs onto a crowd of children on Friday, April 14. The children caused a stampede when they ran onto the oval at Upper Coomera State College, racing to retrieve 30,000 Easter eggs. In GoPro footage recorded by Cat Iler?s son, the children can be seen and heard jostling for eggs and becoming overwhelmed in the chaos. In a post to Facebook, Iler said an ambulance was called and many children were upset in response to the incident. ?Nothing was ever organised so poorly,? Iler said.
