Deut. 16:18 "You are to appoint judges [Shof'tim]...to judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 You are not to distort justice or show favoritism, and you are not to accept a bribe... 20 Justice, only justice...Deut. 17:14...you may say, 'I want to have a king over me, like all the other nations around me.' 15 ... you must appoint as king the one whom Adonai your God will choose...18...he is to write a copy of this Torah for himself in a scroll...19...he is to read in it every day,...and keep all the words of this Torah and these laws and obey them. 1 Sam. 8:4 Then all the elders of Israel...said to him, "Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations...7 And the Lord said to Samuel, "Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. 1. Israel picked a KING after their heart; Not God's heart 2. Israel rejected HASHEM as their Sovereign KING 3.Israel needs a KING after HaShem's HEART 1 Sam. 13:14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you."...Acts 13:21 Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Sha'ul Ben-Kish, a man from the tribe of Binyamin. HaShem's PROPHET speaks His WORD & COMMANDS Deut. 19:15 "One witness alone will not be sufficient to convict a person of any offense or sin of any kind; the matter will be established only if there are two or three witnesses testifying against him....Matt. 18:15 "Moreover, if your brother commits a sin against you, go and show him his fault; but privately, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. 16 If he doesn't listen, take one or two others with you so that every accusation can be supported by the testimony of two or three witnesses. 2 Sam. 7:12 When your days come to an end and you sleep with your ancestors [fathers], I will establish one of your descendants to succeed you, one of your own flesh and blood; and I will set up his rulership. 13 He will build a house for my name, and I will establish his royal throne forever. 14 I will be a father for him, and he will be a son for me...Psalm 2:6 "Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion." 7 "I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You. 5. HaShem's SON will be His KING ; as He is His FATHER John 5:8 Yeshua said to him, "Get up, pick up your mat and walk!" 9 Immediately the man was healed, and he picked up his mat and walked. Didn't one God create us all?...1 Chron. 29:9...and David the king too was completely filled with joy, 10 as he blessed Adonai before the entire community: "Blessed be you, Adonai, the God of Isra'el Our Father [Avinu], forever and ever. 11 Yours, Adonai, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty; for everything in heaven and on earth is yours. The kingdom is yours...Matt. 6:9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father [Avinu] in heaven, Hallowed [Holy] be Your name.10 Your kingdom come....For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen...John 5:31 "If I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is not valid. 32 But there is someone else testifying on my behalf, and I know that the testimony he is making is valid. 33 you have sent to Yochanan, and he has testified to the truth...36 "But I have a testimony that is greater than Yochanan's. For the things the Father has given me to do, the very things I am doing now, testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.
