Car collides with Australind train in North Dandalup

Emergency crews have been called to North Dandalup following reports of a collision between a vehicle and the Australind train.

The crash happened about 4.30pm near Railway Parade and Shanns Road.

Early reports suggest there are no major injuries, with drivers from both the vehicle and the train free from the wreckage.

The Australind, which is believed to have been heading north, will be delayed.

There have been no reports of injuries to passengers.

Investigations are under way.
