A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Brisbane's north as a horror end to the Easter holidays continues.
A previously fatality-free holiday period came to a sad end on Monday evening when a man and woman were killed on the Bruce Highway, south of Maryborough and a teenage boy was left fighting for life.

On Tuesday morning, a North Lakes man, 33, was killed when his bike collided with a ute in Hendra about 5.45am, police confirmed.
Paramedics and police urged motorists to avoid the area, at the intersection of busy Nudgee Road and Gadara Street, metres from the north-east Brisbane suburb's police station.
Police asked Translink to skip the nearby Pleystowe Crescent bus stop on its route 301 buses.
Nudgee Road was closed between Gerler Road and Navigator Place.
In Monday afternoon's accident, a car was travelling north on the Bruce Highway when it hit a second vehicle travelling south before colliding head-on with another southbound vehicle about 3.15pm.
A teenage boy was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a critical condition, and two men and a woman were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Almost 20,000 Queenslanders were clocked speeding over the Easter weekend.
A motorcyclist was clocked doing 225km/h in a 100km/h zone south of Brisbane on the Easter holiday weekend and another motorist was caught travelling at 223km/h through the Glasshouse Mountains on Monday.
