A recall on Organix Finger Foods Baby Biscuits in Creamy Vanilla, Strawberry and Banana flavours has been issued this week.
Parents are urged to check their cupboards for the popular brand of baby biscuit after they were identified as a potential choking hazard. The biscuits pose a risk of crumbling into pieces of a size which can obstruct a baby's throat.
The Food Standards website has specified the dates included in the recall:
Creamy Vanilla Baby Biscuits 54g: best Before (all dates up to and including) 10/10/2017
Strawberry Baby Biscuits 54g: best Before (all dates up to and including) 05/10/2017
Banana Baby Biscuits 54g: best Before (all dates up to and including) 13/09/2017
The products are stocked at Coles, Woolworths and health food stores and can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Do not give any remaining product to your baby.
