Reviews and endorsements

A well designed and colourful children’s picture book, this excellent work was written by a group of Aboriginal adults from Bega TAFE, and illustrated by Year 2 students at Eden Public School…The story highlights the importance of family and kinship in Aboriginal culture, and beautifully captures the intimate knowledge of plant and animal relationships that Aboriginal people possessed. The story has a strong environmental and cultural message for students, and has a good local area focus.
