India by the Nile, a festival for performing and visual arts, will take its 5th edition to venues in Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said and Ismailia between 8 March and 27 April.

India by the Nile is a collaboration between the Indian embassy, the India Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Team Work Productions India.

The festival brings Egyptian audiences a sample of the many artistic riches of the fascinating country of India, from events showcasing dance performances, music fusions, theatre, workshops, exhibitions as well as a food fiesta and sports activities.

The festival is one of the first and largest events bringing Indian culture to Egypt.
