About

Act for freedom now! is a website and its ensuing publications. It is an instrument developed by a few individual anarchists to make known the ideas and struggle of imprisoned anarchists in Greece and elsewhere, as well as to seek out and spread glimpses of the multiform attack on power and its servants. It is a point of reference, a beach-comber gleaning messages washed up by the ebb and flow of revolt. An individual project within the wider projectuality of the struggle against dominion in all its forms fired by the need to have done with this oppressive world.
It is not a political group, nor is it an attempt to ‘manage’ or homogenise individuals or groups on the basis of categories, ‘prisoners’, ‘fighters’, ‘squatters’, ‘trans’, etc, but seeks to recognise signals and explore methods, encounter the spirit of freedom in its many manifestations while creating a terrain where others can widen their vision, explore ideas, ponder contradictions, kindle their desires.
While aware that digital technology is fused with power and is a major player in this death society we are using an infinitesimal part of it, conscious that it is a double-edged sword whose frequentation must be critical and transient.

“In the chaos of our own existence we are a part of the imponderable element which organizes subversion, plans mutinies, that leave even ourselves dazed. The translation of texts, letters, communiqués, etc. so that comrades in other countries around the world can read about the desires and ideas and projectuality of the comrades in Greece, is one more weapon at our disposal. What began as a simple desire and a challenge, has brought us into a new field of experiences, acquaintances and responsibilities. Now that we’re here, they will not get rid of us easily.
We have become another aspect of the asymmetric threat. The war to the end, has already begun. …”
This is why, as individuals with our actions and solidarity, we will continue with all means possible as anarchist revolutionaryinsurrectionalists, to express our thoughts and desires, whether it’s through the letters-texts of our fighting comrades who are hostages in the hell-holes of Greek democracy or through the actions of the comrades outside in the streets day and night with all means untilsocial liberation for Anarchy.
