How many bulbs does this take? I need it to be a certain brightness or else I also need wall sconces due to code rules. Thank you.

It has 3 bulbs at 60W each. That provides for a lot of light. If you'd rather have less light use lower wattage bulbs or possibly install a dimmer.

Barb,

That would work very well. The chain will be very short which is going to make the lamp look like a so called flush mount. This style of lamp with the drape looks perfectly fine that way.

This lamp takes 3 bulbs. The size is a standard, so called A-19. This is the most common bulb size.

The chain is white and so is the canopy/ceiling plate that goes against the junction box in the ceiling.

Thanks for contacting us. This lamp is not damp rated by UL. Depending on what type of outdoor space you have in mind, this lamp could work. None of the components would corrode.

Dear Kathy, We will be re-stocked around end of May or early June. If this is not too late I would suggest you contact HOUZZ and have them notify you once we are ready. I would be happy to do it but HOUZZ does not allow us to exchange e-mail addresses on this platform. In regards of you second question. The lamp is so called "hard wired" and does not come with a plug. Having said that any electrician can switch it around with very little effort.

Dear swysgood,

The diameter of the lamp is 18 inches and the height as depicted is 16 inches. If needed the 16 inches height can be shortened. The lamp has about 40 inches of chain. Therefore the total height from ceiling to the lowest point of the lamp is 56 inches. Please note that the chain can be shortened as well by removing chain links.

Dear Kpicca,

This lamp takes regular incandescent bulb with no more than 60 Watts (technically they are called A19). We recommend to use non-frosted bulbs as they tend to look nicer.

Product Description

Bring some coastal bliss to your home with this intriguing pendant lamp. Put it over your kitchen table, in your bedroom or your powder room and the space will shine in a new light. The hand set Bubble seashells create a rich pattern while the white color provides cool elegance.

Diameter 18 inches x 16 inches high. Total height with chain 54 inches.
Height can be reduced by removing chain links or if needed we can supply additional chain length.
How low the shells hang from the frame can be adjusted. See picture to learn how to shorten chain inside lamp frame.
Made with over a hundred hand set Bubble seashells. Frame wrapped in natural Abaca rope
Takes three 60W bulbs (not included). Use of non-frosted bulb recommended for appearance.
Minor imperfections are to be expected and enhance this item's character. Clean with dry soft cloth
Weighs approximately 13lbs.
