Adamson's on-air gaffe comes as ABC viewers, including Labor leader Bill Shorten, rallied behind presenter Natasha Exelby, who was reportedly stood down by the network over her viral 'daydream' blooper.
Fellow TV presenters and journalists, including Tracey Spicer and Ben Fordham, have also come out in support of Exelby, sharing their own live onscreen nightmares with the hashtag, #PutOutYourBloopers.
