What's on
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt: Friday 14th April, 9:30am, Werribee Mansion in the Park, Werribee
The largest egg hunt in Australia is taking place again this year at Werribee Park. Once the kids are hyped on chocolate, they can also take part in arts and crafts, pony rides, face painting and sack races. The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt is held in support of The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Giant Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday 15th April, 9:00am-1:30pm, Life Ministry Church, 15-49 Old Melbourne Road, Chirnside Park
1000 children (in age appropriate time slots, of course) will be on the hunt to fill their bucket full of Easter eggs at Life Ministry Church in Chirnside Park. There will also be giant inflatable slides and food available for purchase. The event is fundraising for the Amari Community Development organisation, helping to combat poverty through education and community development in Buliisa, Uganda.
Melbourne Easter Show: Friday 14th April to Monday 17th April, 10:00am-9:00pm, Lawson Poole Reserve, Cnr Thompson Rd and South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne
The Melbourne Easter Show in Cranbourne will be an action-packed weekend with kids activities, rides and live music. The show will have a fireworks display every night from 8:30pm. Tickets for the easter egg hunt are $10 per child with a portion of each ticket sold donated to the Very Special Kids Foundation.

Public transport
Timetables
Public transport services will run to a Sunday timetable on Good Friday, normal Saturday and Sunday timetables on 15 and 16 April and a Saturday timetable on Easter Monday.
Night Network
Trains, trams and buses will run all night on Friday and Saturday night.
Ticketing
Fares will be capped at just $6 (full fare) and $3 (concession) a day on the four-day weekend in Melbourne (Zones 1 and 2).
Network disruptions
Over the Easter holiday period in April, there will be a number of service changes to allow works to be completed on the public transport network.
Work on major transport projects, including removing level crossings, preparing the Dandenong line for High Capacity Trains, and track and signalling works will be ramped up during this quieter period.
Trams
Disruptions on route 8 from Saturday 15 April - Monday 17 April.
V/Line
Geelong and Warrnambool lines: Coaches replacing trains from Saturday 8 April to Monday 17 April.
