Zeeshan Akbar, a Service Attendant at the Caltex in Queanbeyan, was fatally stabbed in a senseless act of violence while working his shift on the night of the 6 April 2017.  

Zeeshan’s passing has not only affected his family and friends, but also his colleagues across Caltex and the entire community.

Those who knew him describe Zeeshan as the most loyal, caring, kind hearted, and generous person you could ever have imagined, not just a trust worthy team member, but a part of the family. Always ready to lend a hand, play some cricket, or just have a chat. He will be greatly missed.

The proudest son, the bravest brother, and the sole supporter of his parents and four siblings back in Pakistan, Zeeshan had tremendous responsibilities on his shoulders. 

Although, we can never fill the void created by this horrific incident, in honor of Zeeshan we have created this site to raise funds to help support his family. 

All funds raised will be donated directly to Zeeshan’s family through his cousins who are members of the Queanbeyan community.

Zeeshan was not only a valued staff member, but a best friend to my son, friend to the whole Caltex team, and a part of our family.

The funds will be used to cover any living costs, medical bills, college fees, and any unexpected expenses during this difficult time.

We are in contact with Zeeshan’s parents, and the funds are going into a charity bank account which no one has access too.

Once the campaign is completed the funds will be transferred directly into Zeeshan’s fathers bank account.
