The Black Sea is a sea between Southeastern Europe and Western Asia. It is bounded by Europe, Anatolia and the Caucasus, and drains through the Mediterranean into the Atlantic Ocean, via the Aegean Sea and various straits. The Bosphorus Strait connects it to the Sea of Marmara, and the Strait of the Dardanelles connects that sea to the Aegean Sea region of the Mediterranean. These waters separate eastern Europe and western Asia. The Black Sea is also connected to the Sea of Azov by the Strait of Kerch.
The Black Sea has an area of 436,400 km2 (168,500 sq mi) (not including the Sea of Azov), a maximum depth of 2,212 m (7,257 ft), and a volume of 547,000 km3 (131,000 cu mi). The Black Sea forms in an east-west trending elliptical depression which lies between Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. It is constrained by the Pontic Mountains to the south and by the Caucasus Mountains to the east, and features a wide shelf to the northwest. The longest east-west extent is about 1,175 km (730 mi).
Black is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light. It is the opposite of white (the combined spectrum of color or light). It is an achromatic color, literally a color without color or hue. It is one of the four primary colors in the CMYK color model, along with cyan, yellow, and magenta, used in color printing to produce all the other colors.
Black was one of the first colors used by artists in neolithic cave paintings. In the 14th century, it began to be worn by royalty, the clergy, judges and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century.
In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches and magic. According to surveys in Europe and North America, it is the color most commonly associated with mourning, the end, secrets, magic, force, violence, evil, and elegance.
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.

Jessica Dobson (born 1984/1985) is an American singer and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed with several musicians and bands, including Beck,Conor Oberst,Spoon and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, as well as being a solo artist. She currently serves as guitarist for American indie rock band The Shins as well as fronting and playing guitar for her own band, Deep Sea Diver.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Dobson was signed to Atlantic Records when she was 19 years old. She recorded two solo albums under her own name while on the label, but she was not satisfied with either of the finished products and Atlantic ultimately shelved both albums.
After leaving Atlantic, Dobson recorded an EP called New Caves under the name Deep Sea Diver. She later formed a band under the Deep Sea Diver name consisting of herself on guitar, John Raines on bass and Peter Mansen on drums; The band’s full-length debut album, History Speaks, was self-released in February 2012.

Inspired by the intrepid explorers of old, Nick's technique borrows from master printmakers like Bewick and Durer but his use of bold colour gives his prints a strong contemporary feel. Making the linocut involves carefully planning the image, transferring it to the lino block and then carving away the unwanted parts with gouges. What's left behind is inked up and printed on Nick's etching press. This Deep Sea Diver is printed from seven blocks. The colour blocks are inked up in various colour blends and the black 'key' block is printed last. Each layer has to be carefully registered so that everything aligns ...

With its sunkissed beaches, and Gothic palaces it’s an Olympian city worthy of the gods and the modernist capital of the world where some of the greatest artists on earth found their fame. First off, Megan travels back in time to the city’s “grey years” - between the end of the civil war and General Franco’s death – when there was a huge zest for change, to move on to a new era. It stoked the desire to transform the city itself, while the Olympic Games bid and then the Games themselves provided extra incentive, not to mention cash. The finest architects and urban planners were persuaded to take part in this vision. The axis upon which ...

In 1941 the Japanese military dealt what they thought a heroic and severe wound to the US Navy in their sneak attack in Pearl Harbour. Little did they know that they had so angered the USA that their national mission would be to exact a revenge so powerful that the message would speak across the ages until even our time. Truk Lagoon, (or Chuuk as it has been called since 1990) was the top secret hidden Sea fortress of the Japanese. A resupply and repair base, heavily laden with every manner of supply you could need to fight a massive Pacific campaign, and they thought after 20 years of building it that it was impregnable. In February 1944 the secret was out. The entire base had been found and the intelligence was such that "Operation Hailstone" was launched by the 50th US Navy's TaskForce...

Our True Father gave his heart in addressing those who attended the World Assembly 2010. Father’s heart as the True Parent of humankind is to invest in his children, his eternal sons and daughters, so they can truly become great men and women of God. I’m realizing this as Father visits us more and more often, especially in Las Vegas. I told the congregation there that I’ve often wondered, why Las Vegas? Of course Father wants to turn Sin City into a shining city on a hill by injecting a little bit of he...

Is it you? [x3]
I guess you always
Wanted freedom
No guarantees
In the western world
Love forsaken
My heart is aching
You turned to east
To find your peace
(My everlasting dream)
[Chorus]
Black Sea, what do I see?
This glimmer on the ocean, (is it you?)
Black sea for you and me
So close but far away
Na, na, na, na – Can there be a chance?
Na, na, na, na – For you and me
Na, na, na, na – Feel my humble stance
You’re my swedish complete taboo
(My everlasting dream)
My enigma is
Keeping our secret
Cross my heart
And hope to die
Dream dynamic
So panoramic
When yearning wail
My endless tale
(My everlasting dream)
[Chorus]
I guess you always
Wanted freedom
No guarantees
In the Western World
Love forsaken
My heart is aching
You turned to east
To find your peace
I hear waves are roaring in
Birds are crying loud
My adoring sin
I’m standing here so proud
Why?
[Chorus]
Black Sea, what do I see?
This glimmer on the ocean, (is it you?)
Black sea for you and me
You’re my swedish complete taboo
