This list commenced in March 1997 and is constantly being extended and updated. It is compiled from societies affiliated with Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations Inc, the NSW & ACT Association of Family History Societies, the Royal Australian Historical Society, 84 Australian family history societies participating in CBFHS journal exchange program, societies advertising in Australian Family Tree Connections  magazine, other societies publicised on various Genealogical Mailing Lists and numerous direct requests for linking through our homepage. We welcome any additions, corrections and feedback to this list.
