A joint collaboration with rock / ambient / experimental band MONO (www.monoofjapan.com), Legend takes you on an epic 12 minute visual and aural journey through Iceland's breathtaking landscapes during the time of the midnight sun.
The film travels across Iceland, from the floating blue icebergs of Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon to the steaming geothermic vents of Myvatn, the colorful mountains of Landmannalaugar to the breathtaking sunsets on Snaefellnes Peninsula, and the barren volcanic landscapes of Askja to the vast fields of lupin near Husavik.
Legend was shot over a 2 week period in June 2012 when the sun barely sets below the horizon and you never see darkness. It was filmed completely in 5K resolution using Canon full frame DSLRs on motion timelapse equipment from Kessler Crane.
Mono's score of the same name, Legend, is from their upcoming album "For my parents". Its edgy cinematic and epic quality helps describe Iceland - a breathtakingly beautiful yet unforgivingly dangerous place.

John Legend
John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978), better known by his stage name John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter and actor. He has won nine Grammy Awards, one Golden Globe, and one Academy Award. In 2007, Legend received the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

League of Legends
League of Legends (abbreviated LoL or just League) is a multiplayer online battle arena, real-time strategy video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It is a free-to-play game supported by microtransactions and inspired by the mod Defense of the Ancients for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
In League of Legends, players assume the role of an unseen "summoner" that controls a "champion" with unique abilities and battle against a team of other players or computer-controlled champions. The goal is usually to destroy the opposing team's "nexus", a structure which lies at the heart of a base protected by defensive structures. Each League of Legends match is discrete, with all champions starting off fairly weak but increasing in strength by accumulating items and experience over the course of the game.

By July 2012, League of Legends was the most played PC game in North America and Europe in terms of the number of hours played. The film travels across Iceland, from the floating blue icebergs of Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon to the steaming geothermic vents of Myvatn, the colorful mountains of Landmannalaugar to the breathtaking sunsets on Snaefellnes Peninsula, and the barren volcanic landscapes of Askja to the vast fields of lupin near Husavik. Legend was shot over a 2 week period in June 2012 when the sun barely sets below the horizon and you never see darkness. It was filmed completely in 5K resolution using Canon full frame DSLRs on motion timelapse equipment from Kessler Crane. Mono's score of the same name, Legend, is from their upcoming album "For my parents". Its edgy cinematic and epic quality helps describe Iceland - a breathtakingly beautiful yet unforgivingly dangerous place. Ernest Pratt, a dime-store novelist in the old west, lives with his scientist friend Professor Janos Bartok in the small town of Sheridan, Colorado. The people of Sheridan mistakenly believe that Pratt--a drinker, gambler, and womanizer--is the audacious and pure hero of his novels, Nicodemus Legend. Bartok and his associate, Ramos, convince Pratt to assume the Legend persona while supplying him with Legend-like futuristic gadgets that they invent. Together, Bartok and the reluctant Pratt (as Legend), adventure throughout the west solving mysteries, capturing wrong-doers, and even making scientific discoveries.

"The life of a scarecrow changes when he decides to become friends with the birds" This short film has been internationally acclaimed and received numerous awards since its premiere (including a pre selection to the Oscars) This is not the final cut that was released, voices and music are not the final versions. I was in charge of the creation and design of the characters and backgrounds, the storyboarding, the animation directing and the editing. Nvizible completed over 260 VFX shots for Legend, the 2015 film about the notorious gangsters the Kray twins. As Tom Hardy was cast in both roles, our VFX Supervisor Adam Rowland worked closely with director Brian Helgeland and the camera department in deciding how certain sequences should be shot, while leaving enough flexibility to support any potential changes later. Using a combination of split screens and face replacements, we were able to help the audience suspend their disbelief and allow Tom Hardy’s performance do the talking. In addition to the work on the Kray twins themselves we reinforced the 1960's aesthetic by adding background architecture such as bridges, gasometers, factories and shopfronts, as well as cars and people. The Porsche "Legend" spec spot was created as an experiment in remote collaboration between Monovich (Stephen Fitzgerald) and The Brigade. Located at opposite ends of the United States (Washington and New York states), both parties were connected only by broadband lines and a common interest in creating a spot with beautiful visuals with a strong message that was faithful to the Porsche brand. None of the artists involved at any level ever met face to face. When we needed an additional skillset to round out the piece, we pulled out our address books or web browsers and shot emails, IMs, or phone calls to Oregon, Connecticut, California, Hong Kong, and Poland. He cannot tolerate anyone who comes across his way. Once, he goes to a nearby village for a marriage proposal to him. He kills the family members of the village headman one-by-one. As soon as Krishna arrives in India, he gets involved in quarreling with the gang of Jitendra. When Krishna and his family members are travelling in a bus to visit a temple Jitender's shoots Krishna and his family members are beaten badly by his henchmen. Krishna's elder brother Jai Dev The Legend (Balakrishna) who remained exiled obeying his grandmother, saves them and Krishna is admitted in a hospital. Then the past is revealed that twenty years back there was a quarrel between Jai Dev and Jitender in which Jai Dev's cousin (Radhika Apte) whom he loved was killed by Jitender. At present he comes to know that Jitender is going to become Chief Minister of the state.How he stops Jitender from claiming this throne forms the rest of the story.

A joint collaboration with rock / ambient / experimental band MONO (www.monoofjapan.com), Legend takes you on an epic 12 minute visual and aural journey through Iceland's breathtaking landscapes during the time of the midnight sun.
The film travels across Iceland, from the floating blue icebergs of Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon to the steaming geothermic vents of Myvatn, the colorful mountains of Landmannalaugar to the breathtaking sunsets on Snaefellnes Peninsula, and the barren volcanic landscapes of Askja to the vast fields of lupin near Husavik.
Legend was shot over a 2 week period in June 2012 when the sun barely sets below the horizon and you never see darkness. It was filmed completely in 5K resolution using Canon full frame DSLRs on motion timelapse equipment from Kessler Crane.
Mono's score of the same name, Legend, is from their upcoming album "For my parents". Its edgy cinematic and epic quality helps describe Iceland - a breathtakingly beautiful yet unforgivingly dangerous place.

This short film has been internationally acclaimed and received numerous awards since its premiere (including a pre selection to the Oscars)
This is not the final cut that was released, voices and music are not the final versions.
I was in charge of the creation and design of the characters and backgrounds, the storyboarding, the animation directing and the editing.
It was made mixing 2D backgrounds with 3D modeling into a false 3D environment in After Effects.

Nvizible completed over 260 VFX shots for Legend, the 2015 film about the notorious gangsters the Kray twins.
As Tom Hardy was cast in both roles, our VFX Supervisor Adam Rowland worked closely with director Brian Helgeland and the camera department in deciding how certain sequences should be shot, while leaving enough flexibility to support any potential changes later.
Using a combination of split screens and face replacements, we were able to help the audience suspend their disbelief and allow Tom Hardy’s performance do the talking.
In addition to the work on the Kray twins themselves we reinforced the 1960's aesthetic by adding background architecture such as bridges, gasometers, factories and shopfronts, as well as cars and people. Several environments were created digitally entirely from scratch, including a huge digital matte-painting of sixties London which made up the opening shot of the film.

The Porsche "Legend" spec spot was created as an experiment in remote collaboration between Monovich (Stephen Fitzgerald) and The Brigade. Located at opposite ends of the United States (Washington and New York states), both parties were connected only by broadband lines and a common interest in creating a spot with beautiful visuals with a strong message that was faithful to the Porsche brand. None of the artists involved at any level ever met face to face. When we needed an additional skillset to round out the piece, we pulled out our address books or web browsers and shot emails, IMs, or phone calls to Oregon, Connecticut, California, Hong Kong, and Poland. In the end the experiment worked out very well, and we are happy with the result both creatively and technically. Although it is not absolutely "perfect", we are proud of what we achieved. With the next round of collaboration we will take what we learned on this spot and push ourselves to a higher standard yet.
All of the shots were done with Lightwave 9, and Comped in After Effects CS3.

Nvizible completed over 260 VFX shots for Legend, the 2015 film about the notorious gangsters the Kray twins. As Tom Hardy was cast in both roles, our VFX Supervisor Adam Rowland worked closely with director Brian Helgeland and the camera department in deciding how certain sequences should be shot, while leaving enough flexibility to support any potential changes later. Using a combination of split screens and face replacements, we were able to help the audience suspend their disbelief and allow Tom Hardy’s performance do the talking. In addition to the work on the Kray twins themselves we reinforced the 1960's aesthetic by adding background architecture such as bridges, gasometers, factories and shopfronts, as well as cars and people. The Porsche "Legend" spec spot was created as an experiment in remote collaboration between Monovich (Stephen Fitzgerald) and The Brigade. Located at opposite ends of the United States (Washington and New York states), both parties were connected only by broadband lines and a common interest in creating a spot with beautiful visuals with a strong message that was faithful to the Porsche brand. None of the artists involved at any level ever met face to face. When we needed an additional skillset to round out the piece, we pulled out our address books or web browsers and shot emails, IMs, or phone calls to Oregon, Connecticut, California, Hong Kong, and Poland. Krishna (Balakrishna) lives in Dubai, while his family is in India. His grandmother is against him who settled in India. Krishna falls for Sneha (Sonal Chauhan) and comes to India to seek the blessings of his grandmother. Jitender (Jagapati Babu) is a man with pride and haughtiness. He cannot tolerate anyone who comes across his way. Once, he goes to a nearby village for a marriage proposal to him. There he gets involved in a quarrel with the village headman (Suman) due to some unfortunate events and gets jailed. From then on wards, he tries to take revenge on that family. He kills the family members of the village headman one-by-one. As soon as Krishna arrives in India, he gets involved in quarreling with the gang of Jitendra. When Krishna and his family members are travelling in a bus to visit a temple Jitender's shoots Krishna and his family members are beaten badly by his henchmen. Krishna's elder brother Jai Dev The Legend (Balakrishna) who remained exiled obeying his grandmother, saves them and Krishna is admitted in a hospital. Then the past is revealed that twenty years back there was a quarrel between Jai Dev and Jitender in which Jai Dev's cousin (Radhika Apte) whom he loved was killed by Jitender. At present he comes to know that Jitender is going to become Chief Minister of the state.How he stops Jitender from claiming this throne forms the rest of the story.

Krishna falls for Sneha (Sonal Chauhan) and comes to India to seek the blessings of his grandmother. Jitender (Jagapati Babu) is a man with pride and haughtiness. He cannot tolerate anyone who comes across his way. Once, he goes to a nearby village for a marriage proposal to him. There he gets involved in a quarrel with the village headman (Suman) due to some unfortunate events and gets jailed. From then on wards, he tries to take revenge on that family. He kills the family members of the village headman one-by-one. As soon as Krishna arrives in India, he gets involved in quarreling with the gang of Jitendra. When Krishna and his family members are travelling in a bus to visit a temple Jitender's shoots Krishna and his family members are beaten badly by his henchmen. Krishna's elder brother Jai Dev The Legend (Balakrishna) who remained exiled obeying his grandmother, saves them and Krishna is admitted in a hospital. Then the past is revealed that twenty years back there was a quarrel between Jai Dev and Jitender in which Jai Dev's cousin (Radhika Apte) whom he loved was killed by Jitender. At present he comes to know that Jitender is going to become Chief Minister of the state.How he stops Jitender from claiming this throne forms the rest of the story.

A joint collaboration with rock / ambient / experimental band MONO (www.monoofjapan.com), Legend takes you on an epic 12 minute visual and aural journey through Iceland's breathtaking landscapes during the time of the midnight sun.
The film travels across Iceland, from the floating blue icebergs of Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon to the steaming geothermic vents of Myvatn, the colorful mountains of Landmannalaugar to the breathtaking sunsets on Snaefellnes Peninsula, and the barren volcanic landscapes of Askja to the vast fields of lupin near Husavik.
Legend was shot over a 2 week period in June 2012 when the sun barely sets below the horizon and you never see darkness. It was filmed completely in 5K resolution using Canon full frame DSLRs on motion timelapse equipment from Kessler Crane.
Mono's score of the same name, Legend, is from their upcoming album "For my parents". Its edgy cinematic and epic quality helps describe Iceland - a breathtakingly beautiful yet unforgivingly dangerous place.

I was in charge of the creation and design of the characters and backgrounds, the storyboarding, the animation directing and the editing.
It was made mixing 2D backgrounds with 3D modeling into a false 3D environment in After Effects.

Nvizible completed over 260 VFX shots for Legend, the 2015 film about the notorious gangsters the Kray twins.
As Tom Hardy was cast in both roles, our VFX Supervisor Adam Rowland worked closely with director Brian Helgeland and the camera department in deciding how certain sequences should be shot, while leaving enough flexibility to support any potential changes later.
Using a combination of split screens and face replacements, we were able to help the audience suspend their disbelief and allow Tom Hardy’s performance do the talking.
In addition to the work on the Kray twins themselves we reinforced the 1960's aesthetic by adding background architecture such as bridges, gasometers, factories and shopfronts, as well as cars and people. Several environments were created digitally entirely from scratch, including a huge digital matte-painting of sixties London which made up the opening shot of the film.

The Porsche "Legend" spec spot was created as an experiment in remote collaboration between Monovich (Stephen Fitzgerald) and The Brigade. Located at opposite ends of the United States (Washington and New York states), both parties were connected only by broadband lines and a common interest in creating a spot with beautiful visuals with a strong message that was faithful to the Porsche brand. None of the artists involved at any level ever met face to face. When we needed an additional skillset to round out the piece, we pulled out our address books or web browsers and shot emails, IMs, or phone calls to Oregon, Connecticut, California, Hong Kong, and Poland. In the end the experiment worked out very well, and we are happy with the result both creatively and technically. Although it is not absolutely "perfect", we are proud of what we achieved. With the next round of collaboration we will take what we learned on this spot and push ourselves to a higher standard yet.
All of the shots were done with Lightwave 9, and Comped in After Effects CS3.
