The Sundays (stylized as The SUNDAYS on all releases) were an English alternative rock band. The band formed in the late 1980s and released three albums in the 1990s.
The band's beginnings came with the meeting of Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin at university. Wheeler had played gigs with 'Cruel Shoes' an early incarnation of the band Jim Jiminee. The duo soon augmented the band with bassist Paul Brindley and drummer Patrick Hannan.
The Sundays secured a recording contract with Rough Trade Records. Their debut single was "Can't Be Sure". Their first album, Reading, Writing and Arithmetic was released in 1990, along with their next single "Here's Where the Story Ends". The album was a UK Top 5 hit.
With Rough Trade's financial troubles and the band's decision to manage themselves, The Sundays' next single, "Goodbye", did not emerge until 1992. Their next album, Blind, arrived the same year, reaching the UK Top 15. The "Goodbye" B-side, a cover of The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses", also appeared on the US release of Blind as well as in the movie Fear (1996) and on the 1999 soundtrack album for the popular television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The band toured in support of these recordings.
"Sun Daze" is a song recorded by American country music duo Florida Georgia Line. It is the second single from their second studio album Anything Goes, which was released on October 14, 2014.
Thematically, the song is about a man who plans to participate in various recreational activities, including flip cup, sexual intercourse, and substance intoxication of cannabis. Country Weekly describes the song as "reggae-indebted" and said that "While it retains the party friendly vibe of much of FGL’s work, the loose, stripped-down production is a bit of a departure for the duo". The group members told the magazine that “It still kinda bumps and it’s still got a cool guitar line and it’s got the whistles going and it’s still groovy. You can’t not shake your head to that song. It’s just a simple song, man. We just try to be very transparent in the way we write and the way we live. There’s nothing better than just kicking back . . . whatever ‘Sun Daze’ is for that person—staying home, making a drink, playing basketball, whatever it may be.”

Blind is the second full-length album by The Sundays. It was released by Parlophone on October 19, 1992 in the UK, then in the US by Geffen the following day, October 20. Often considered the darkest and most experimental of The Sundays' albums, noted for its melancholic lyrics and closer resemblance to the darker dream pop work of artists such as Cocteau Twins. Sundays - Season 1 (Web Series) Episode 6 "Old, New and Strange Acquaintances" Created by Forrest Naylor Written & Directed by Forrest Naylor A Fog Line Films Production Sundays is an original web series about a small Northern California coastal village and the eclectic medley of characters who call it home. It’s about the stories that originate from within the old sea weathered Victorian and Edwardian homes that make up this secluded village perched on the craggy bluffs of a moody ocean. Stories played out on a tiny sailboat moored in a salty harbor. Stories viewed through cracks in the wood of old barns. Sometimes the lives in these stories intertwine, while others take off on a path of unpredictability, leaving drama, comedy and romance in wake. But the only true way to describe Sunday...

Promo for the cultural sundays in Utrecht. A Monthly event that has exhibitions and other cultural festivities throughout the city of Utrecht. This was the first project after art school. First time we used tracking of live action footage and put cg in live action. It took 4 weeks for 2 men to finish this project. We used Maya and 3DsMax. Compositing was done in Shake. This commercial was made at the end of 2006 with a cheap dv cam recorder with interlaced footage.

Hello my friends! ❄️ Christmas is almost here. So I thought why not make a chill winter music mix for it. Go get a thick jumper, a cup of hot chocolate, and curl up with a book and a blanket while the snow flakes cover the cold streets outside. Escape those rosey cheeks and runny noses. Winter is for being cozy! This mix consists of hip hop beats you could expect in a Casey Neistat vlog, atmospheric electronic music that's calming you down, house and indie music. This is another of my little collection of live Sundays vids - this one is a longer one but again not great quality. I didn't record any of these sundays clips - I just collected them over the years. As far as I can tell the '120 Mins' refers to the name of the show, not the length.

This debut album from The Sundays is guaranteed to make you smile and feel happy all over. Formed in England at Bristol University in the late 80′s, The Sundays have only released 3 albums in their career and are technically still on a hiatus that has lasted over 15 years. Combining David Gavurin’s light and wistful guitar playing, similar to the Byrds’ Roger McGuinn or the Smiths’ Johnny Marr, with vocalist/wife Harriet Wheeler’s soaring, angelic voice, there is not a dud anywhere to be found on this release. Everyone is waiting semi-patiently for another disc from The Sundays, but until then – this one and the 2 follow-ups (Blind from 1992 and Static and Silence in 1997) are pure magic.
LOOK FOR INTERVIEW 2014 BELOW! 1997 - from the Summertime CD Gone is back, I uploaded this "video" to my old channel(AfanofTheSundays) several years ago, but I made a stupid mistake and lost my old channel, yes i'm an idiot, but now I've put it back where it belongs. A brief interview with H&D; in 2014 by Adam Pitluk, the editor of American Airlines' magazine American Way. THE SUNDAYS, an influential alternative rock band throughout the 1990s, were on an upward trajectory when lead singer Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin walked away from the business side of music in 1997 to raise their two children. They have rarely been heard from since. The couple recently chatted via email exclusively with American Way from their home in London. American Way: Looking back on the early ’90s,...
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
Monday through Saturday I get by just fine
Every other day of the week I feel alright
But I don't know why
I don't know why
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
Sunday's supposed to be the day for kicking off your shoes
But how come that's the day I always get the blues
And I don't know why
I don't know why
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
Ever since you had to go I just carry on
But deep down inside I know there's something wrong
And I don't know why
I don't know why
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
I can't seem to make it through Sunday
