Belfast boxer Carl Frampton has hit back at a Twitter troll who criticised him for wearing an Antrim GAA jersey.
Images shared on social media showed Frampton wearing the sports top in a Belfast cafe.
While most comments were positive one user replied on Twitter saying: "Showing his true colours and his support for sfira a total disgrace from a Protestant from Tigers Bay."
The troll followed up saying: "Never again will i support @RealCFrampton and i urge all Loyalists to do the same he now belongs to the other side".
Frampton hit back in typical humorous fashion by posting a photo of a customised hurling stick and a message: "Hey boy, anymore talk like that and you'll get this around the coupon."
That KO post was met with approval from fans including UTV's Frank Mitchell who said: "This is why Carl is a success! A knock out with a few cheeky witty words! Well done my man!"
Another win for Frampton.
ProGAA who made the hurling stick said later: "We designed & made the stick for Carl & added in the images to reflect his cross community work. He's a great ambassador for sport."
