Prompt with the breaking News, fact based as you get the story hype and spin left out thus allowing me to not have to figure out fact from fiction, but I already knew this that's why I have you 24/7. As for articles with spinning opinions, no problem, I know how to rewind. Thank you much

3/20/2018 MON: I can no longer see comments it shows comments loading the comments never load. why can't you people leave well enough alone? if I'm able to see the comments like I have been for the last three years I might give you 5 stars but for now I wish I could only give you 0 Stars. 3/21/2017 TUE: I'm still kinda seats the comments section and the comment section does not come up. when I click the drop-down menu for comments the screen remains blank. I will update this everyday until I can see the comments. this is really ridiculous. and again it just shows that people in the post can't leave well enough alone. so for now my reading for this application is still a one-star.
HuffPo has great content. That said, this app is a DATA PIG. I can read a month a WaPo with the same data usage of this poorly conceived and designed app in 1 week. To me that alone makes it a piece of crap. No. I do not have unlimited data. Nor does the vast majority of smartphone users. Fix it. Try taking the complete reload of 50 article pics and headlines off every god-dam^ article. WTH HufPo!?!

The 22nd story on their sports page is about game 6 of the world series...which was in the beginning of November...It's the beginning of February. Do they know how much has happened in that time? Nothing is ever current or relevant. I'm deleting this stupid app.

I wish you could comment on articles using some other platform besides the infamously invasive Facebook 😣 some of us in the world actually hate using Facebook, some of us in the world want to use our voice without having to be owned by Zuckerberg. 😑 I thought you were better than this, huff post...
charly urban
I have enjoyed Huffington post for about year since my wife turned me on to it. Even tho you are left leaning, I find most of the stories are pretty balanced. My favorite's to read are the opinions. They strike close to my heart.

I used to hate the way Irvington Post kind of screamed at you with the headline at top. I actually uninstalled it a year or so ago because I got so annoyed by that. But for some reason either they have better judgment as to what to scream about or I just need someone to be doing some screaming about the horrible, scary situation our country is in. I like it now.
I don't need the night glow feature since I have an app that already does that for my phone (Twilight), but I like that it's included. HuffPo is okay, but not as one's only source of news (read: echo chamber).
It's really pissing me off that I have to constantly turn off "show notifications" and NOT only after app updates. Stop it. Now. I will read HuffPost even without the very annoying notifications but I might get feed up and uninstall it all together.

Deleting app data for the HuffPost deletes all preferences, restoring the app to default settings. Push notifications are on by default. Ensure HuffPost is whitelisted in app clears, cache cleaners etc... Very disappointed. No mater how much i try to avoid politics and the American president, that's all there seems to be on this app. I will get my news information from more positive places.
I have followed the Huffington Post for several years now and this app is great. My only hiccup with it is that being from Canada many videos are unavailable though to be fair that is not the fault, per se, of the app.
Huff post is my main source for all info. I have ditched several news programs in the last six months. Thank you for all the wonderful work you all do for me each day.
Huffpost is real news, the best place for genuine news. Want fake news? Go to Fox - unfair, unbalanced
A great source of national and international news. It gets straight too the point without any of the irrelevant crap other outlets force upon us.
Often first with reporting, embedded videos crash sometimes only issue. I like that avoiding clicking ads is easy enough, and they don't try to obscure the story with an ad you have to scroll around.
since I wrote the following review the app no longer works on my android 4.4.2 device so it no longer loads up articles. It would be great iuf the developers can sort this out...I like the content and the editorial view of the news and use it as one of my main sources of news. I think that the design and layout has room for improvement.
Where have I been to have only just noticed this app. Spot on fast breaking news alerts. Really pleased, 5*Thank you
Apparently they don't read feedback. The ads have become ridiculous. Uninstalling and reinstalling ends the ads for a short time but they reappear within a day or two. This is a problem!

Hello Douglas, please email android@huffingtonpost.com with more information about the problem you're experiencing with the ads. We would like to fix all malfunctions asap, and well need your detailed feedback via email to help. Please provide a screenshot and some explanatory details about what is malfunctioning, thank you. I am not able to play most videos, and this has been going on for a long time. I expected 1 of the many updates since my previous rating to have addressed this issue, but no.
Huffington Post February 10, 2017
Please email android@huffingtonpost.com with some more information. What device, what android version, the url to an article where the video won't load. We'll need more information to experience the issue and help. Thank you for the feedback. I want it to have more notifications popping up. Would appreciate if you could do that. Thanks
A far cry from what it used to be, not use if that's down to a staff change or anything, however still a stable on my phone and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.
Content is fantastic. The problem I'm having is with the videos. Many of them just disappear when I press the play button. Screen just goes white.
It's a but on the sensational side, but that's a business model nowadays. Some helpful new articles, though, and its a fair counterbalance to the not so 'fair and balanced' uber-conservative sites.
The latest upgrade is simply horrible. It is slow and keeps running forever without loading articles.
Huffington Post March 24, 2017
The latest update is neither the cause nor solution to loading issues, the server issues will be fixed soon. Sorry for any inconvenience. Cheers. So we are back to the permanent pop ups by huff post. .... Yes I HAVE used the app for ages, rated it already!...So I DO NOT appreciate the pop ups asking me to rate the app everytime I use it...So back to the NYT until you lot get it sorted AGAIN!!!
Huffington Post March 28, 2017
Hi Mike, the rating popup only shows 1x per 2 weeks at the very most. Please be considerate of cache and data clearing apps. If something deletes the HuffPost cache or data it resets the apps preferences. Thank you. Love the content but the app is just awful. Links don't work, scrolling is hard and it regularly crashes.
Your reports are usually spot on but on fact based stories I can do without the editorials just the facts please I already know Trump is an idiot
It so far is one of the best apps to watch general breaking news. Very easy to use and straightforward in its approach to presenting a wide variety of interesting news, articles and analysis.
The app is pretty terrible, with auto sound ads, no option to open links into a different browser, and just poor performance all around.
The fact that I can't read the whole headline in the notification, is not good. Sometimes it is just enough for me to read the headline but I can't without opening the app which takes 20 seconds to page completely load.
The app is NOT working, opens with a blank interface after the latest update. Please resolve the issue.
I begin and end each day with Huffington Post; and check in regularly throughout the day. It is my favorite news app!
Love the coverage of current events and the Trump disaster of a presidency. Definitely has a left lean to it, but all the articles are based in fact, so that's fine with me.
Good honest news as Donald J Trump, I'm sure he will confirm or deny it or whatever!
I really enjoy the stories. There are a few though that seem to be reaching a bit to a conclusion that may not have been the intention. I know this kind of site is sort of the opposite of Breitbart and the alt-right sites, which is good because we get enough "alternative facts" from President Trump and his cohorts. I just don't want the stories here to be jumping to conclusions rather than following the facts. For instance, the Spicer/I store incident. He(Spicer)may have been wrong in saying that the woman should be glad that she is here in the U.S.(or something to that effect)and he may HAVE been insinuating that she was an immigrant, but she accosted him in public and was extremely rude in her comments and demeanor. We don't NEED to create controversy out of thin air. Trump, his aides & administration and Congressional Republicans will hang themselves all on their own. I believe we should let them because the more we have stories like this, the more we feed their rhetoric to their supporters/fans. I say we sit back and allow them to destroy themselves, because they will. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that we shouldn't protest for the things we believe in or against things that they are doing that will harm us or any other person in this country. Just don't make a mountain out of a molehill.
This is a great app. Not only does it give me the important stories I want but they are attentive to feedback. I also like reading the comments submitted by readers. Definitely a keeper!

Comments are now fixed. Thank you for reporting the outage. With Rachael Maddow , the Daily Show, Keith Olberman and Bill Maher, Huff Post remains my constant link to Reason-Based Information that Matters.
I wrote to you to share my concerns about this app. I am much happier with the improvements that were made.
I like the way the writers connect issues that may not seem to relate on the surface. Nice analysis.
