Directed From Memory

At the 65th Melbourne International Film Festival, you’ll see films that leave a lasting impression. Films that stay with you.

We gave a fan of the festival the chance to remake his favourite film scene completely from memory. Keith Gove was selected from a Facebook competition to direct, and star in his own re-creation of Takashi Miike’s Audition, a film that he saw once at MIFF, 16 years ago.

Created in partnership with established director, Stephen McCallum, the scene brings Keith’s memory of the film to life.

MIFF 2016 runs 28 July-14 August. Book your future memories miff.com.au.
