Tropical Low
At 5am CST, a tropical low was located approximately 320km N of Croker Island and 420 km NE of Milikapiti, and will remain slow-moving.
As this low develops in the Arafura Sea of the next few days it will strengthen and move southwest, potentially forming into a Tropical Cyclone to the north of the Tiwi Islands on Tuesday.
There is a cyclone WATCH for Croker Island to Cape Fourcroy, including the Tiwi Islands.
GALES are expected to develop from Tuesday.
HEAVY RAIN may cause flooding for low-lying communities of the Tiwi Islands.
