The Best of China
Great wall of China
One of the great wonders of the world. Being 13,171 miles long, this wall represents a great feat of perseverance and a sign of how important territorial borders were for Chinese emperors over the centuries. Absolutely a must visit if you have the opportunity.
Terracotta Army
This army was created after the death of the first emperor of China, Qin Shin Huang, as a part of the funerary art, with the goal of protecting the emperor in the afterlife. This site is placed on a UNESCO World Heritage list, and it shows the significances with which the first emperor was regarded.
Forbidden City
This imperial palace, which now houses a palace museum, housed Chinese dynasties from 1420 until 1912. Located in Beijing, this is a place where you can see traditional Chinese art and observe it's development over centuries.
