Ans: The opening at Aintree was Gabriel's Oboe, by Ennio Morricone from the soundtrack to The Mission.

The Champions music comes from the Olympic Spirit album, composed by John Williams and available on Sony records.

As for the music accompanying our archive footage of Red Rum, that was Superstition, by Stevie Wonder on Motown records.

Published by Chappell Record No. FCD 6004. Written by Dunn, Jackson, Jones and Cropper. We're not sure whether it is available in sheet music - but you may need a drummer!
