Jared Corey Kushner (born January 10, 1981) is an American businessman and investor. He is principal owner of the real estate holding and development company Kushner Properties and the newspaper publishing company The New York Observer. He is the son of American real estate developer Charles Kushner and is married to Ivanka Trump, the daughter of American real estate and entertainment mogul Donald Trump.
Kushner is the eldest son of Seryl (née Stadtmauer) and real estate developer Charles Kushner. He has a brother, Joshua, who is also a businessman, and two sisters, Nicole and Dara. His father has an estimated net worth of $500 million.
He was raised in a Jewish family in New Jersey. He graduated from the Frisch School, a private, coed yeshiva high school in Paramus, New Jersey, and from Harvard College in 2003 with an A.B. in sociology. According to journalist Daniel Golden, Kushner (and his brother Joshua Kushner) were admitted despite modest academic credentials after his father had made a $2.5 million donation to the university, with the Director of the school's college preparatory program describing his admission to be "an unusual choice for Harvard to make" given that he was "not anywhere near the top of his class."
The Late Show may refer to:
The Tonight Show is an American late-night talk show broadcast from the Rockefeller Center in New York City and airing on NBC since 1954. It is the world's longest-running talk show, and the longest running, regularly scheduled entertainment program in the United States. It is the third-longest-running show on NBC, after only the news-and-talk shows Today and Meet the Press.
Over the course of more than 60 years, The Tonight Show has undergone only minor title changes. It aired under the name Tonight for several of its early years, eventually settling on The Tonight Show after the seating of long-time host Johnny Carson in 1962. In later decades, network programmers, advertisers, and the show's announcers would refer to the show by including the name of the host; for example, it is currently announced as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 1957, the show briefly tried a more news-style format. It has otherwise remained a talk show throughout its run.
The Tonight Show began broadcasting in 1954. It has had six official hosts, beginning with Steve Allen (1954–57), followed by Jack Paar (1957–62), Johnny Carson (1962–92), Jay Leno (1992–2009, 2010–14), Conan O'Brien (2009–10), and Jimmy Fallon (2014–present). It has had several recurring guest hosts, a practice especially common during the Paar and Carson eras.
The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. It has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800.
The house was designed by Irish-born James Hoban and built between 1792 and 1800 of white-painted Aquia Creek sandstone in the Neoclassical style. When Thomas Jefferson moved into the house in 1801, he (with architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe) expanded the building outward, creating two colonnades that were meant to conceal stables and storage. However, in 1814, during the War of 1812, the mansion was set ablaze by the British Army in the Burning of Washington, destroying the interior and charring much of the exterior. Reconstruction began almost immediately, and President James Monroe moved into the partially reconstructed Executive Residence in October 1817. Construction continued with the addition of the South Portico in 1824 and the North in 1829.
James Thomas "Jimmy" Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, television host, actor, singer, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and raised in Saugerties, New York. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue stand-up opportunities.
He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005). Following his film career, Fallon returned to television as the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC in 2009, where he became well known for his emphasis on music and games. He transitioned from that program to become the sixth host of the long-running The Tonight Show in 2014.

http://democracynow.org - President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has agreed to testify to the U.S. Senate committee investigating ties between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election. He may also face questioning over a December meeting with the head of a U.S.-sanctioned Russian state development bank known as VEB. President Obama imposed the sanctions in 2014 over Russia’s military actions in Ukraine. The bank disclosed the meeting on Monday and said Kushner was acting as "the head of Kushner Companies." This information contradicts the statements of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who said on Monday that Kushner was acting as a Trump adviser during the meeting, not as a private developer. The revelations came on the same day Kushner agreed to testify to the S...

Renovation Ivanka: How the First Daughter and Jared, have transformed their DC home with a mixture of top designers and regular day-to-day brands... shame the neighbors don't appreciate it. It's been almost three months since Ivanka and her family moved into their new Washington home - and what a transformation. While her father is notoriously fond of all things gold and garish, Ivanka appears to have simpler tastes, choosing to decorate the stunning $5.5 million home in a mix of designer and regular day-to-day brands. The six-bedroom property, which is located just around the corner from the Obamas in the upmarket Kalorama neighborhood, was bought in December by a company with ties to a Chilean billionaire. The company is renting it to Kushner and Trump, both advisers to the president, wh...

Nov 22, 2016, 12:01 PM Some are questioning whether the son-in-law of President-elect Trump and husband of Ivanka could be problematic. President-elect Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner was viewed as one of the most influential voices during the campaign season and is widely expected to retain that influence in the incoming administration. But with the exception of a July op-ed he wrote in The New York Observer, a paper he owns, Kushner, the husband of Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, has remained mostly out of the spotlight. He recently gave an interview to Forbes magazine, describing his role in the campaign and defending his father-in-law and members of the administration who have garnered controversy. Here are some things we learned about Kushner from the interview.
Forbes Associate Editor Steven Bertoni on the role President-elect Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, played in helping him win the White House.

Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s older daughter, arranged a meeting between the president-elect and former vice president Al Gore; that she and husband Jared Kushner are reportedly house-hunting in Washington; and that Ivanka is rumored to be looking at White House office space, it’s pretty fair to say she isn’t breaking completely new ground. There’s no job description, so like other first ladies, Ivanka can define her position — and it looks like the gig is hers — in a unique way: advocating for nonpartisan causes, as Laura Bush did with children’s literacy and Michelle Obama did with nutrition, or setting up in the White House’s West Wing as a de facto policy adviser, like Hillary Clinton. Here are her few interviews in which she explains about herself and family . Owing to her new position...
