Here's a few things i learned though:

its would have been much easier to have bought cheap pressure treated fence wood and laid them on top of the pallets. It will save you time and frustration. that's what I eventually did. unless you want the look of the used wood. Excuse the "entire" in the previous comment. it was for simplicity sake.

Take your time to level the pallets, i didn't and its not entirely flat. nobody else seemed to notice though.

Stain it to make it last. This i have not yet done, i completed it during the start of winter. might stain it this summer.

here's a tip if you ever need more wood: look for "wood pallets / skids". On craigslist or kijiji or even driving around warehouse areas. Ask around, I found a warehouse that told me to comeback every other friday for a fresh load. I built my entire deck out of pallet wood and it turned out pretty nice, solid wood.

look at Craigslist and Kijiji for free building materials. windows, paint, drywall, etc. Paint the walls (yes, over the wood panels) and the inside of those shelves, Paint the kitchen cabinets, it will make everything look nicer and easier to work with.

This is a pretty big job so you'll need to think about how you will live while this house is in construction. Make just one room in your house look good, that way there is a place to go when you feel really stressed that wont stress you out even more.

Women feel that if you haven't lost your virginity, that means there IS something wrong with you. You cant reason your way out of it. The proof is that no other woman has trusted you yet, enough to have sex with you. Why should any of them trust you?

yes, there are females who get turned on by taking a guy's virginity but nobody walks around with their fetishes written on their forehead and you are less likely to find one with that specific one.

if they are avoiding you "from a mile away" that means your virginity is all you think about and they can tell you're worried about it.

If you're walking around thinking you're not good enough, why should any woman think you're good enough. They can tell how you feel about yourself. Hell, even i can tell how someone feels about themselves the first five seconds of meeting them, and i heard women were better at it then men.

Fake it till you make it.

Lastly, your self esteem should NEVER depend on other people. Your self-esteem is not something you put in the stock market, leave that shit in your savings account.

a 10 i fooled around with had a messy house. it wasn't just regular messy it was halfway to "hoarders" messy. I never called her back. it was the biggest turn-off I've ever experienced.
