"Fall at the Start"

"Fall at the Start" Written By Tara Blaise, Greg French & John Hughes, released on 25 July 2007, was the first single from the album. It was released less than a year after "Twenty One Years", which was the final single from her 2005 debut album Dancing on Tables Barefoot, and nearly one year before the rest of the Great Escape album.

Written By Tara Blaise, Greg French & John Hughes. On 21 March 2008 the second single, "Breathe", was released. The UK CD single was released on 8 December 2008.

Sunk Loto

Sunk Loto were an Australian metal band formed in Gold Coast, Queensland in 1997. The band's members were vocalist Jason Brown, guitarist Luke McDonald, bass player Sean Van Gennip, and drummer Dane Brown. Sunk Loto signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia when the average age of their members was 16 years. They released two studio albums, Big Picture Lies (13 October 2000) and Between Birth and Death (17 November 2003), both reached the ARIA Albums Chart top 50. The group disbanded in December 2007.

History

Sunk Loto formed as a heavy metal band in Gold Coast, Queensland in March 1997 by Dane Brown on drums, his brother Jason Brown on lead vocals, Luke McDonald on guitar and Sean Van Gennip on bass guitar. Originally named Messiah, Jason and McDonald had met at a local music store, Jason brought his younger brother to practice sessions and McDonald's school mate, Van Gennip, completed the line-up. A year later they changed their name due to another band of the same name: Jason explained "we looked up Messiah in the dictionary and one of the meanings was 'liberators of the oppressed" and we took the first letter of each word to form LOTO and SUNK from sinking."

Never Have I Ever

"Never Have I Ever", also known as "I've Never…" or "Ten Fingers", is a drinking game.

Rules

The verbal game is started with the players getting into a circle. Then, the first player says a simple statement starting with "Never have I ever". Anyone who has done what the first player has not must drink. Play then continues around the circle, and the next person makes a statement. An additional rule – uncommon, but beneficial to the game –is that if there is no one taking a drink, then the one who said the particular "I have never…" must take a drink. This rule often forces the players to strategize more and makes for less disposable/pointless suggestions.

A further variation holds that whenever only one person is drinking, that person must give a detailed account of why they are drinking. Another variation of this game involves putting up five or ten fingers, putting one down whenever something mentioned has been done. Those who end up putting down all of their fingers must take several successive drinks.

Make Me

"Make Me" is a song by American singer-songwriter Janet Jackson included on her second greatest hits compilation Number Ones (2009). The song was written by Jackson, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Thomas Lumpkins, and Michaela Shiloh. Initially presented as an audio stream to those who joined her web site's official mailing list in September 2009, it was released via digital download later that month, on September 22, 2009, as the lead and only single from Number Ones by A&M Records.

"Make Me" features an up-tempo disco beat and lyrical hook reminiscent of her material from the 1980s. The song received critical praise, with music critics comparing the song favorably to her hit "All for You" (2001) and her brother Michael Jackson's 1979 number one single "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough", both of which carry a distinct disco beat. It became her 19th number one hit single on the Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart, and made her the first artist to earn number one singles on the chart across four decades. The song's music video, directed by Robert Hales, was shot entirely in black and white, and it received positive critical reception for its vintage aesthetic.
