Emergency response
We help people caught up in natural disasters and conflicts across the world with clean water, food, sanitation and protection. At any given time, we are responding to over 30 emergency situations, giving life-saving support to those most in need. We also work hard to encourage global and local policy makers to bring about the changes needed to improve the lives of those affected.
Millions of people are facing starvation across East Africa, Yemen and north-east Nigeria. Oxfam is on the ground in each of these regions, providing food, clean water and sanitation to families who are in desperate need of assistance. We urgently need to scale up our response to save more lives. You can help.
Yemen is on the brink of famine after nearly two years of devastating conflict. So far thousands of people have been killed and over 3 million forced to flee their homes. More than half of the country is without enough to eat. We are delivering emergency aid but we urgently need your help to do more.
Millions of people are being forced to flee their homes, risking everything to escape conflict, disaster, poverty or hunger. We are working in nine of the ten top refugee source countries as well as in refugee host countries. We urgently need your help to reach people in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and in Europe.
