Mark Daniel Ronson (born 4 September 1975) is an English musician, DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Although his debut album Here Comes the Fuzz failed to make an impact on the charts, his second album Version reached number two in the UK and included three top 10 singles. This success won him a Brit Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in 2008. His third studio album, Record Collection, was released on 27 September 2010, peaking at number two in the UK.
In 2014, Ronson achieved his first UK and US number one single with the Grammy-nominated "Uptown Funk," which featured vocals from Bruno Mars. In 2015 it won Ronson the Brit Award for British Single of the Year. His fourth studio album, the Grammy-nominated Uptown Special, was released in January 2015, and became his first UK number one album. Ronson has also produced multi-platinum, Grammy-winning albums for Amy Winehouse and Adele.
Ronson was born at the Wellington Hospital, St John's Wood, London, the son of Laurence Ronson, a real-estate speculator and music manager, and Anne Dexter. His parents are both Ashkenazi Jews (their ancestors being Jewish immigrants from Austria, Russia, and Lithuania); Ronson was brought up in Masorti Judaism and had a Bar Mitzvah. The family name was originally "Aaronson," but was shortened by Mark's grandfather Henry. He is the nephew of Gerald Ronson. Through his mother, he is also related to British Conservative politicians Sir Malcolm Rifkind and Leon Lord Brittan, as well as Odeon Cinemas founder Oscar Deutsch. He is not related to the late English guitarist Mick Ronson, who coincidentally fathered a son named Mark in 1975.
Kevin Parker may refer to:
Narcissus /nɑːrˈsɪsəs/ is a genus of predominantly spring perennial plants in the Amaryllidaceae (amaryllis) family. Various common names including daffodil, daffadowndilly, narcissus, and jonquil are used to describe all or some members of the genus. Narcissus has conspicuous flowers with six petal-like tepals surmounted by a cup- or trumpet-shaped corona. The flowers are generally white or yellow (orange or pink in garden varieties), with either uniform or contrasting coloured tepals and corona.
Narcissus were well known in ancient civilisation, both medicinally and botanically, but formally described by Linnaeus' in his Species Plantarum (1753). The genus is generally considered to have about ten sections with approximately 50 species. The number of species has varied, depending on how they are classified, due to similarity between species and hybridization. The genus arose some time in the Late Oligocene to Early Miocene epochs, in the Iberian peninsula and adjacent areas of southwest Europe. The exact origin of the name Narcissus is unknown, but it is often linked to a Greek word for intoxicated (narcotic) and the myth of the youth of that name who fell in love with his own reflection. The English word 'daffodil' appears to be derived from "asphodel", with which it was commonly compared.

In 2014, Smith's television shows took the Taste Awards by storm with Smith returning to Little Rock with four Taste Awards.
Born in Little Rock, and raised in McMinnville, Tennessee, Smith is a fourth-generation nurseryman and horticulturalist. Inspired by a childhood spent on the farm raising and showing livestock and poultry, he has led a life of promoting good stewardship of the earth. In 2009 Smith founded the Heritage Poultry Conservancy, an organization dedicated to the preservation and support of all threatened breeds of domestic poultry. William Wordsworth (7 April 1770 – 23 April 1850) was a major English Romantic poet who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature with their joint publication Lyrical Ballads (1798).
Wordsworth's magnum opus is generally considered to be The Prelude, a semiautobiographical poem of his early years that he revised and expanded a number of times. It was posthumously titled and published, before which it was generally known as "the poem to Coleridge". Wordsworth was Britain's Poet Laureate from 1843 until his death in 1850.
The second of five children born to John Wordsworth and Ann Cookson, William Wordsworth was born on 7 April 1770 in Wordsworth House in Cockermouth, Cumberland, part of the scenic region in northwestern England known as the Lake District. His sister, the poet and diarist Dorothy Wordsworth, to whom he was close all his life, was born the following year, and the two were baptised together. They had three other siblings: Richard, the eldest, who became a lawyer; John, born after Dorothy, who went to sea and died in 1805 when the ship of which he was captain, the Earl of Abergavenny, was wrecked off the south coast of England; and Christopher, the youngest, who entered the Church and rose to be Master of Trinity College, Cambridge.

As Abe Lincoln said, "For those who like this sort of thing, this is the sort of thing they like." This is Wordsworth's most famous poem and, in fact, one of the most famous poems in English literature so I can't just ignore it. It has been inflicted on generations of hapless schoolchildren. A collection of Daffodils is more a "patch" than a "crowd" or a "host" - except if they're in a "never-ending line", when perhaps "row" would be more appropriate. The line will of course not be "never-ending" and it's nowhere near as big as the Milky Way because, man, that's like really humongous: anyway he lost my credulity when he claimed to be able to count ten-thousand at a glance. I have to mention that daffodils are not golden, they're yellow and they can't dance. The notion that daffod...
Daffodils by William Wordsworth. I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazed--and gazed--but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pl...

Mark Ronson is a familiar face and friend of SITM so it's always a special treat when he stops in. Citizens hardly know what they're going to get when he shows up, last time we world premiered "Uptown Funk" which blew up into something all of its own. It's always fun watching the trajectory go into another space and become a moment in music history, that is exactly what "Uptown Funk" gave us. As a friend and producer of the late great Amy Winehouse, Mark took a few minutes to rewind back to the documentary that he believes showed her true genius and exactly what made the film stand out in his opinion. Fans all loved her music but the behind the scenes stories are what make her talent all the more impressive. Ronson details working with her on records like "Rehab" as well as helping Adele...

Mark Ronson has soared to the top of charts around the globe with his funky Bruno Mars-featuring hit Uptown Funk, earning him a whole new legion of fans in the process. According to the multi-instrumentalist and producer extraordinaire himself, he did it all without selling himself out. “The thing that’s so great about this song is that, I love it as much as anything else I’ve ever done. I’m so proud of it,” says Ronson. “We didn’t go and do some other thing or chase any trends. We made a song of the music we love.” “It’s pretty wild because I’ve never had any songs anywhere near this level,” he explains. “This for some reason is like a whole other ballgown.” Yes, that’s right, “ballgown”. In the country now for a whirlwind tour promoting his latest album Uptown Special with a select fe...

Strollin' past the Daffodils
I won't forget how it feels
To be lost in the maze.
Laying on the sunkissed patch
Of grass we found round the back
Of that palace garden place...
There wasn't a cloud in sight,
Nor people strolling by.
You held your hand in mine and I sighed,
For there was not much
To be found... in your eyes
Oh, of all the sights I've seen
never knew it'd be you me and Buckley Bee
in the cool, warm shade.
And I should of kissed your face...
I should've explored all the places...
Ooo, oh my...
How you seem to make me shy...
Ooo, and every time you kiss me on the lips
I think of how I could get used to this.
Used to your kisses....
So wakey, wakey, rise and shine...
So wakey, wakey, rise and shine,
T'was another lovely evening again last night
Honestly did I not blige to your every whim,
Seen as I was beholden?
Ooo, oh my...
How you seem to make me shy...
Ooo, and every time you kiss me on the lips
I think of how I could get used to this...
So wakey, wakey, rise and shine...
Ooo, oh my...
How you seem to make me shy...
Ooo, and every time you kiss me on the lips
