Plot: A statue in a town's square narrates to a journalist the story of 9th standard-failed, unemployed, trouble-maker and stutterer Premshankar Sharma. Premshankar, cons Mr. Pinto into buying a dilapidated flat to pay for expenses of the Happy Club over which he presides, much to the disapproval of his restaurateur father, Shivshankar, who wants him to wed Shakuntala Mishra. Premshankar's life will undergo many changes after he falls in love with Pinto's adopted daughter, Jenny. He believes that she also loves him, and even helps her to elope after her parents force her to wed wealthy Tony. Premshankar ends up in despair when he finds out that Jenny's true love is Canada-based Rahul, the son of wealthy politician, Pitambar Jalan.

Plot: A wealthy industrialist and business man named Raj Singhania lives in Bombay, India. He reaches up with a music band in which Karan Malhotra is the leader and Priya is his right-hand and sweetheart. Karan finds that it is not easy to achieve one's merit. A contract made between the two for his band to sing on a crusade for Raj. He agrees to do so and later on conspire with his girlfriend Priya to take over Raj vast estate by setting up his girlfriend to marry Raj fakely. On a chance encounter one day Raj and Priya both meet, where by Raj fall head over heals in love with Priya. And later on they both got engaged. Raj carry Priya and introduce her to his entire family where a date for the marriage between the two is set. And later on finalized. On his wedding night Priya speaks to Raj about she must remain a virgin until one month and he agrees to do so, unknown to him that it is a conspiracy by Karan and Priya. After a few days Priya decides to break plans with Karan releasing what is husband and wife which leads to the destruction of both Raj and Priya by Karan. But, after learning the truth between Karan and Priya, Raj and Karan had a scuffle which leads to the death of Karan and unite the married couple for years to come.

Plot: Advocate Anand Saxena lives in a small apartment with his wife, Kavita, who came from a wealthy family, and their young son. They live in a crime-prone area as Anand cannot afford to live in a better locality, due to his honesty and integrity. Almost daily they are mocked at, made fun of, and even have their motor-cycle burned at the hands of the goonda elements, led by Captain Dada, who owes allegiance to criminal don, Uncle Kalra. Then Captain Dada meets and falls in love with Anshu Mehra, and introduces himself as Vijay. He changes his character to impress Anshu, and even befriends Kavita. He takes Anshu to meet Kavita, and that's when Anand rips off the mask of respectability from Captain's face, with Anshu having her heart broken, and refusing to have anything to do with him again. He manages to convince Anshu that he is a changed person and she gets him to promise to give up all criminal activity, which he does. Uncle Kalra, however, does not see it his way, and asks his men to kill him at any cost, additionally he wants his son, Raj, to marry Anshu. Now Captain is on the run from Kalra's men, and also from the police as he finds out that Anshu is the niece of Police Commissioner Mehra, who will not leave any stone unturned to capture and kill Captain at any cost - and write off his death as a "Police Encounter".

Plot: Prashant Verma works as a reporter with "Navkranti", which is owned and operated by Pandey. The wedding is canceled, and the lives of the entire Nath family changes thereafter, with Kamla and Maya taking over the household, reducing Savitri to the status of an unwanted guest, while Namrata is asked to become the servant and unable to complete her education, and Chander, who rebels, is asked to leave. Vandana's dad comes to know of their plight and refuses to permit his daughter to get married in the Nath family. Chander moves in with Abdul, gets a job as a waiter, then he is promoted as Manager, and finally as partner and co-owner of the Francis Hotel. Unable to get medication, Savitri passes away, forcing Namrata to move in with Abdul as well. Madan and Surendra also find success when they buy their own hotel and name it 'Gulmohar Hotel'. With Chander on one hand, and his two siblings on the other - they are now poised to compete with each other - not knowing who will win in this cut-throat competition - as they set out to destroy each other.

Plot: Circa British Rule in India, Satyapriya Archarya lives a modest yet noble lifestyle with his grandfather, Satyasharan. His mother passed away while he was very young, and his dad became a celibate and went off on a pilgrimage, never to return. Satyapriya studies Engineering, and becomes a close friend of fellow-collegian, Narendra Sharma. India gains independence, both friends successfully obtain degrees, part ways, and Satyapriya gets employed by the United Paper Mill. He soon finds out that his employers want him to forge papers to obtain Government funds, and he resigns in protest. He also finds out that a partner of the paper mill, Kunver Vikram Singh of Bhawanigarh, had sexually molested a young woman, Ranjana, the daughter of a prostitute, and he marries her, earning the wrath of Satyasharan, who refuses to have to do anything with him. Shortly thereafter Ranjana then gives birth to Kabul. Always refusing to adapt to bribery and corruption, Satyapriya moves from town to town and from one job to another. Narendra and he finally do meet each other - this time the former is his immediate Supervisor, and it is here the stage will be set for a confrontation after Narendra instructs Satyapriya to compromise with situations.
