The AFP reports that the Russian defence ministry says the suspected sarin gas attack in Idlib province, which killed at least 70 people including 20 children, was a result of Syrian war planes striking a “terrorist warehouse” which contained “toxic substances”. World leaders have condemned the attacks as the UN prepares for an emergency meeting on Wednesday.
