English is a wonderful language, yes it can be complex, and full of nuance, but that is its beauty.

Personally I believe that ensuring all who want to and need to understand the language should be able to. That includes indigenous people who find themselves not able to read or write in English. I was involved in adult literacy for many years and know just how important and liberating it is for a working class person to finally be able to use their language in ways others just take for granted.

Well that doesn't actually have anything to with what I've said or the topic at hand, indeed you seem to have ignored all the bits that contradict your earlier claims, and is really chauvinistic but thanks for sharing I guess?

Oh and by the way the Welsh only speakers have no interest in speaking you language or any other than Welsh*. And what exactly do mean by "their language" there is no such thing as a workers language just like how the workers of the world have no country. And "their language" in the usual nationalist sense would be the Welsh the language they've already mastered. Do you realise you've just advocated English oppression of a national minority?

*Actually, I remember hearing a few were interested in learning Gaelic, and other Celtic languages.

The only thing I've actively advocated on here is adult literacy, literacy for all. Meanwhile you're ranting on about the welsh. If anyone is having difficulty reading this website I suggest they are helped to learn English as that is the language it presents in the first instance.

Google translate for anyone who needs basic translation (even welsh) - https://translate.google.com/

I've found a few Esperanta tekstoj on Anarchist history that are in the English library, and a couple of historical sketches of Esperanto Workers associations.

I've also started translating poorly a few short articles so I'd appreciate having a place to upload them when I've improved.

that would be great, thanks! Just post them to the library with the tag "Esperanto" (if that is how you say Esperanto in Esperanto at least…). Then drop me a line and I will change the tag to a language.

admin: Further off topic discussion on this thread, about whether Esperanto is a good idea or not will be deleted. If you want to start a thread about it, please do.

Good, well officially Esperanto means one who hopes and was a pseudonym of Zamenhoff, and the words for the Esperanto language is la esperanta, but most Esperantistoj use Esperanto as the common label, and EO to denote Esperanto language texts..
