The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that competes in the National Football League (NFL). They are members of the league's North division of the National Football Conference (NFC). Green Bay is the third-oldest franchise in the NFL, organized and starting play in 1919. It is the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team based in the United States. Home games are played at Lambeau Field.
The Packers are the last vestige of "small town teams" common in the NFL during the 1920s and 1930s. Founded in 1919 by Earl "Curly" Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun, the franchise traces its lineage to other semi-professional teams in Green Bay dating back to 1896. In 1919 and 1920, the Packers competed against other semi-pro clubs from around Wisconsin and the Midwest. They joined the American Professional Football Association (APFA), the forerunner of today's NFL, in 1921. Although Green Bay is by far the smallest professional sports market in North America, its local fan and media base extends 120 miles south into Milwaukee, where it played selected home games between 1933 and 1994.

The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the highest level of professional football in the United States. The game culminates a season that begins in the late summer of the previous calendar year. Normally, Roman numerals are used to identify each game, rather than the year in which it is held. For example, Super Bowl I was played on January 15, 1967, following the 1966 regular season. The single exception to this rule is Super Bowl 50, which was played on February 7, 2016, following the 2015 regular season.
The game was created as part of a merger agreement between the NFL and its then-rival league, the American Football League (AFL). It was agreed that the two leagues' champion teams would play in the AFL–NFL World Championship Game until the merger was to officially begin in 1970. After the merger, each league was redesignated as a "conference", and the game has since been played between the conference champions to determine the NFL's league champion. Currently, the National Football Conference (NFC) leads the league with 26 wins to 23 wins for the American Football Conference (AFC). The Pittsburgh Steelers have the most Super Bowl victories with six.

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America, and the highest professional level of American football in the world. The NFL's 17-week regular season runs from the week after Labor Day to the week after Christmas, with each team playing sixteen games and having one bye week. Following the conclusion of the regular season, six teams from each conference (four division winners and two wild card teams) advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Super Bowl, played between the champions of the NFC and AFC.
The NFL was formed in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) before renaming itself the National Football League for the 1923 season. The NFL agreed to merge with the American Football League (AFL) in 1966, and the first Super Bowl was held at the end of that season; the merger was completed in 1970. Today, the NFL has the highest average attendance (67,591) of any professional sports league in the world and is the most popular sports league in the United States. The Super Bowl is among the biggest club sporting events in the world and individual Super Bowl games account for many of the most watched television programs in American history, all occupying the Nielsen's Top 5 tally of the all-time most watched U.S. television broadcasts by 2015. The NFL's executive officer is the commissioner, who has broad authority in governing the league.

We were honored to help our friends in Green Bay package their Packers content across different platforms as they prepared to launch two brand new shows. Drawing from the team’s rich history, we created the opens and corresponding elements used in Total Packers and Packers Today, seamlessly tying the content and Packers brand together. We had a lot of fun incorporating iconic team imagery and era-specific surfaces, which culminated in an epic reveal of a battle-worn, heroic logo. So appreciative of Michael and the rest of the amazing people in the Packers organization for getting us involved. All rights reserved © Capacity Corp. 2015
In late December 2013 I visited Wisconsin, the frozen tundra, for my annual family vacation. I didn't know what to expect. And it was surreal. Cold wind. Snow. Icy landscape as far as you can see and everything was frozen solid with temperature below zero - fahrenheit as well as celsius. Despite the crazy weather I had the chance to watch a NFL game live - Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers at the famous Lambeau Field. Finally. A NFL game. Finally. Lambeau field, the stadium I visited, when I was 15 years old, back in 1996. Well, I'm a huge sports fan but never saw something comparable to a NFL game before. All I can say is, that it was a one of a kind experience. Packers fans are just unbelievable. #GoPackGo Written, directed & shot by Oliver Würffell Edit & sound design by V...
The Green Bay Packers approached Capacity to do the show package for two of their news shows, 'Total Packers' and 'Packers Today.' The former needed to capture the history and authenticity of the team, and the latter needed to feel more energetic and contemporary. I created the edit for both of the opens, and created styleframes using 3D elements created by Conor Scully (who modeled almost the entire piece), Kenny Lutz (who worked his texture magic on most of these), Jonathan Larson, and Benji Theim. I also worked out the logo type. Brett Morris stepped in once we started production to make sure the texture quality in the styleframes translated through to the final animation. During production, I helped to art direct the piece and, along with Benji Thiem, composited shots in the final edi...
This was produced for Fox Sports. The video played right before the Packers took the field for the Super Bowl. Sam Elliott helped out on the shoot
www.kmotionmedia.com TV spot for Green Bay Packers Pro Shop. Production was a combination of still photo manipulation, shooting product over blue screen, compositing, motion graphics, 3D model creation (Lambeau Field was created using a paperweight as a model) and 3D animation. Kmotion Media: Production & Post Production
Hopefully some Twelves out there will enjoy this. GO HAWKS! I do not own any of the content in this video, it is non-profit and is only intended for 12th Man entertainment purposes! :P

This sacred patch of ground, one hundred yards of earth
Three hundred feet to test our hearts and prove our worth
And every ounce of pride we've ever held inside
Will give us strength when we are face down in the dirt
So let the snow fall down; let it freeze this battleground
Feel the chill, share the thrill; we're the clay that shapes this town
Chorus
So bring on the heroes; bring on the fight
Turn up the action; shine down the lights
Bring on the heroes; let's keep this dream alive
Bring on the heroes; these are the heroes of our lives
It’s Packer pride!
Verse 2
We can bridge the great divide, carry on the flame
With a heart so bold, green and gold runs through our veins
When the clock is running down, we make every second count
We pull as one with the force to move these chains
Where no one stands alone, a single wall of stone
We’ll take the heat, turn defeat into a victory of its own
Chorus
Bridge
Never going down, never going under
Red zone coming, no time to wonder
Crowd is building up to a roaring thunder
It’s a battle of wills on the frozen tundra
