Phacochoerus is a genus of wild pigs in the family Suidae, known as warthogs. It is the sole genus of subfamily Phacochoerinae. They are found in open and semiopen habitats, even in quite arid regions, in sub-Saharan Africa. The two species were formerly considered conspecific under the scientific name Phacochoerus aethiopicus, but today this is limited to the desert warthog, while the best-known and most widespread species, the common warthog (or simply warthog) is Phacochoerus africanus.
Although covered in bristly hairs, their bodies and heads appear largely naked from a distance, with only the crest along the back, and the tufts on their cheeks and tails being obviously haired. The English name refers to their facial wattles, which are particularly distinct in males. They also have very distinct tusks, which reach a length of 25.5 to 63.5 cm (10.0 to 25.0 in) in the males, but are always smaller in the females. They are largely herbivorous, but occasionally also eat small animal food. While both species remain fairly common and widespread, and therefore are considered to be of Least Concern by the IUCN, the nominate subspecies of the desert warthog, commonly known as the Cape warthog, became extinct around 1865.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American twin-engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s. It entered service in 1976, and is the only United States Air Force production-built aircraft designed solely for close air support, including attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets.
The A-10 was designed around the 30 mm GAU-8 Avenger rotary cannon that is its primary armament. The A-10's airframe was designed for durability, with measures such as 1,200 pounds (540 kg) of titanium armor to protect the cockpit and aircraft systems, enabling it to absorb a significant amount of damage and continue flying. Its short takeoff and landing capability permits operation from airstrips close to the front lines, while its simple design enables maintenance at forward bases with limited facilities. The A-10A single-seat variant was the only version built, though one A-10A was converted to an A-10B twin-seat version. In 2005, a program was begun to upgrade remaining A-10A aircraft to the A-10C configuration.

Plot: Teenage Zef and little brother, Tutu, are two happy elephants. Who wouldn't be with the biggest backyard in the world to play in? - the wild plains of Africa. They merrily chase zebras, ostriches and warthogs, scarring them silly. There is a whole bunch of fun stuff to be doing and Zef is just the big brother to show Tutu how to get into all kinds of (mischievous) trouble. Until their mother and the family herd are taken from them in the dark of one dreadful night by The Badness. To cover up the truth of their fate from Tutu, Zef makes up a story about a rainbow taking their mum to the sky. Now, Tutu needs to find that rainbow and their mum. Zef wants to find a new herd, a new family. Their journey in search of both takes them on a high adventure - with the help of some ditsy rainbow Cranes, a very unusual vegetarian vulture and a few surprising types with some entertaining takes on the jungle. Along the way Zef and Tutu are joined by three other orphaned animals - Chump, a chimp insisting he is the King of the Jungle, Stretch, a very skittish giraffe and Cub, a Prince to the true jungle king. Together, this band of young African animals must find their way across unfamiliar, rugged terrain and face challenges like none they have known in their short lives. Challenges that test the brotherly love between Zef and Tutu as each insists on pursuing his own goal. Proving they have the stuff of all true heroes, the orphans rally around Tutu who believes the rainbow he is seeking is something they have to see with their heart and not their eyes. When they find the rainbow's end, they will find new families. Of this, Tutu is certain. All that finally stands between the animal band and the rainbow's end is The Badness that took their families. It is up to the orphans to stop The Badness from ever taking animal families again.

Why the A-10 Warthog Is Such a Badass Plane Today, most A-10 operations are flown at medium to high altitudes, but the "Hawgs" still go low when needed. On the deck, pilots say the airplane is rock steady. The big bubble canopy offers an unrestricted view of terrain just below. Despite all the advanced gear, much of the low-level flying and attacking is still done using the old-fashioned eyeball, with A-10 drivers performing the same pop-up, roll over, and dive maneuver they did in the 1970s. Firing the Avenger cannon still shakes the entire airplane. Pulling off a run, the pilot pitches up into a four-to-five-G turn, ejecting chaff and flares to foil missiles and anti-aircraft fire. Leaving the target area, pilots bob and weave the Warthog to dodge enemy fire. Since 2012, the Air Force ...

Watch how this adult warthog stands up to a pack of wild dogs without getting attacked. He has to stand his ground because if he runs the wild dogs will attack him; he also has to ensure that they don't get behind him, because once they surround him, he is in trouble. They rely on their phenomenal stamina to tire their prey and the combined strength of the pack to bring the prey down. Fortunately two members of another species comes to his rescue.
You've got to give to get.
I took too much to forget.
You've got to give to get.
Don't close your eyes.
You've got to give.
What the fuck?
My friend?
Did you think I'd forget?
You had a chance,
We have the scars,
We had the dream.
They stole the dream.
They took the stars.
It's all we have.
You had a chance.
We have the scars,
We knew the world.
They stole the dream.
They took the stars.
It's all we had.
It should be ours.
You let it come down around you,
There's nothing under there.
I'm afraid I have to close my eyes;
I have to be selfish.
I hope you know we love you my friend.
What the fuck?
My friend?
What did you think, my friend?
I'd never walk away, my friend?
I remember what you look like standing, my friend.
I remember.
