I passed by the bar, to have a drink, a bite and nice time of pooling. The place is so nice, but the girl go was in charge, little bit rude and non sense, I was with my friends, we were three, we orde...r the drinks finally a pizza she got from the place just next to it, she out just one napkin so, when the pizza arrived I look for her, she wasn't there, so the easiest thing, ask for the extra napkins from the place we got the pizza...
RESULT: She appeared just behind me, from nowhere, complaining why I didn't ask to her...
1. She wasn't there! Am I supposed to guess?

The Hostel saved our trip in Brugge. Staff was nice and room was clean. We loved that the bar was on the same building, music or voice wasnt too loud for us. We got to know alot new people and left to...gether dancing and everything was more than good and pleasant. And a big plus for us to leave our stuff for the next evening for free so we had time to enjoy the city at the day time allso. Kiiitos paljon! Afficher la suite

Checkin stuck, I was need to wait the longest hslf of hour in my life, wating barmen to start be receptionist. It was nigth, i was extremaly tired after long driving. Rude towels completed the picture.... Bar is ok, breakfast is ok.

The hostal was really bad, the beds wasnt confortable at all. The cleaning in the bathrooms was really deficient and the personal of rooms cleaning was very unpolite. The distribution of the rooms was... weird and easy to lost, it is like a maze, in fact the laundry room was difficult to find, and the machines wasnt working ok; we has to spend a lot of money in dry our clothes, because the dryer machine wasnt work properly.
In the hostal you dont have a common space to interact with other backpackers, and you have to pay for everything in the bar (not even close to have any discount for staying in the hostal).

Was the worst hostal experience in our all travel (one month and a half).

The bar is nice enough, but as a hostel the worst I've stayed at. Apart from being shortchanged at check in was woken constantly between midnight and 5am by people banging on doors (being connected to... a bar probably a major reason for this). Then at check out was told that because I was 10 minutes late I'd lose my deposit. Deposit was only €5 and only €10 short changed at check in compared to the €120 I paid staying there but just the penny pinching leaves such a sour taste in the mouth. No one likes a scab. Well can't speak for the people who have left bad Reviews but what where you expecting it's a hostel it has a bed showers and toilet so checked all the boxes I needed! El trato es muy deficiente, no tiene nada que ver lo que en un principio con lo que realmente te dan. No son fieles ni a sus propias normas, por ejemplo, una de las normas es que no se puede hacer ru...ido a partir de las 10 de la noche sin embargo el bar pertenece al albergue tiene la musica a todo volumen y con un gran alboroto hasta pasada la 1de la madrugada. Los encargados son muy desagradables, puesto que al trabajar de cara al público deberian ser mas agradables y ademas si tienes un problema en vez de intentar ayudarte miran mas por beneficio propio, es decir, si ellos no van a sacar nada a cambio (estafa) te tienes que buscar la vida....en general mi nivel de satisfacion es que ni volveria ni lo recomendaria. Not only was this the filthiest hostel I have ever been to, but also was the staff the most incompetent I have ever had the (doubtful) pleasure to meet.
"Why is that?" You may ask and I am delighted t...o tell you:
The day we arrived we asked to pay via credit card, since we had to give the details to make our booking. (Which was an adventure standing all by itself, more expensive than we first thought + no breakfast included - a brilliant website you have there) The man (who was in fact the friendliest person we met there) behnd the counter could not do that but he called his colleague who promised to take care of it the next day.
In the moring we were most rudely awaken by someone who could barely express himself in english but, despite this, sent the message "you must pay" quite clearly. so we go downstears and meet a lady who ignores our questions and explainations with the very annoying phrase "i do just need you to pay". she also told us that it just was not possible to pay via credit card so, of course, we paid in cash (after a very difficult dialogue I will not discuss any further).
the rest of our stay was not very delightful either - extremey disgusting showers and a toilet that has seemingy never been cleaned - also the loud music fro the bar we could hear all night (which was not too bad, we kind of expected that), paired with bunk beds we expected to break every second and a hole in the ceiling that looked as if something from a horror film had escaped, not to forget the staircase which would be illegal if any official ever saw it.

Now comes the best part:
A week or so later we found out that they in fact, booked of the money from the credit card the very same day they told us that that is not possible, which made us pay TWICE the price.
That is a mistake that simply cannot happen in anything that acts as if it were a serious business.
After writing an email we got our money back but I cannot excuse a mistake like that.

Stay in 2015 June. If you want to have some drinks and worry about go back hostel safely. Choose here would be a good solution for you becuz the hostel is also a amazing bar. The bartender (at the sam...e time, reception clerk) is a really nice guy and I had a awesome night in here. The only thing not cool here is the cool water and you won't want to bear the chill for long. Afficher la suite
