Rana Daggubati

Rana Daggubati is an Indian film actor, producer, Visual Effects co-ordinator,and photographer known for his works in Telugu cinema and Bollywood. As a Visual Effects producer, Rana won the State Nandi Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for the Telugu film Sainikudu starring Mahesh Babu. In 2006, he received the National Film Award for co-producing Bommalata – A Bellyful of Dreams.

In 2010, he made his acting debut with the Telugu blockbuster Leader, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He received critical acclaim for his performance in the 2012 crime thriller film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. In 2015, he starred as the main antagonist in Baahubali: The Beginning, which recorded the highest gross opening for an Indian film.

Early life

Rana was born on 14 December 1984, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to Telugu film producer Daggubati Suresh Babu. His paternal grandfather was D. Ramanaidu, a famous film producer who was conferred with the third highest civilian award in the Republic of India, the Padma Bhushan, in recognition for his contribution to Telugu cinema. His paternal uncle Venkatesh and his cousin Naga Chaitanya are also actors in Telugu Cinema.

1 (number)

1 (one; /ˈwʌn/ or UK /ˈwɒn/, also called unit, unity, and (multiplicative) identity), is a number, a numeral, and the name of the glyph representing that number. It represents a single entity, the unit of counting or measurement. For example, a line segment of unit length is a line segment of length 1.

As a number

One, sometimes referred to as unity, is the integer before two and after zero. One is the first non-zero number in the natural numbers as well as the first odd number in the natural numbers.

Any number multiplied by one is that number, as one is the identity for multiplication. As a result, one is its own factorial, its own square, its own cube, and so on. One is also the result of the empty product, as any number multiplied by one is itself. It is also the only natural number that is neither composite nor prime with respect to division, but instead considered a unit.

As a digit

The glyph used today in the Western world to represent the number 1, a vertical line, often with a serif at the top and sometimes a short horizontal line at the bottom, traces its roots back to the Indians, who wrote 1 as a horizontal line, much like the Chinese character 一. The Gupta wrote it as a curved line, and the Nagari sometimes added a small circle on the left (rotated a quarter turn to the right, this 9-look-alike became the present day numeral 1 in the Gujarati and Punjabi scripts). The Nepali also rotated it to the right but kept the circle small. This eventually became the top serif in the modern numeral, but the occasional short horizontal line at the bottom probably originates from similarity with the Roman numeral I. In some countries, the little serif at the top is sometimes extended into a long upstroke, sometimes as long as the vertical line, which can lead to confusion with the glyph for seven in other countries. Where the 1 is written with a long upstroke, the number 7 has a horizontal stroke through the vertical line.

Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal (born 19 June 1985) is an Indian film actress and model who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil films. She has also appeared in a few Hindi films. Through her successful career, Kajal has become one of the most popular celebrities in South India. In addition to acting, Kajal participates in stage shows and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products.

Kajal made her acting debut with the 2004 Bollywood film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na and had her first Telugu film release in 2007 Lakshmi Kalyanam. She subsequently earned wide critical recognition for her dual portrayal in 2009 historical fiction Telugu film Magadheera. It ranks among the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time and fetched her Best Actress nominations at several award ceremonies including Filmfare. She followed with a series of box-office hits in Telugu and established herself as one of the leading and highest-paid actresses in Tollywood.

Rana

Rana (Sanskrit: राणा) is a historical title of Rajput origin, denoting the rank of an absolute Monarch.

Today, it is being used as a hereditary name in South Asia. Rani is the title for the wife of a Rana or a female monarch. Rani also applies to the wife of a Raja. Compound titles include Rana Sahib, Ranaji, Rana Bahadur, and Maharana.

Royal title in India

Rana was formerly used as a title of martial sovereignty by Rajput kings in India.

Rana title in Pakistan

Members of different Rajput clans use Rana as a hereditary title in Pakistan and their majority is Muslim. However Hindu Rajputs with this title also exist in Sindh.Umerkot was a state with a Hindu Rajput ruler using the title Rana in Sindh (presen-day Pakistan). In the 16th century Rana Prasad, the then Rana of Umerkot, gave refuge to Mughal prince Humayun and his wife Hamida Banu Begum, who fled from military defeat at the hands of Sher Shah Suri. Their son Akbar was born in the fort of the Rana of Umerkot.
