Beautiful restaurant. A must when in Bali. Metis will now become a regular every time I visit which is a couple times a year. The only issue I had was I am a fussy (very) eater and I only eat beef or chicken. There was no chicken on the menu and the only beef was with ox tongue. There was a lot of duck, pork, lamb and seafood but nothing really for me. So I settled for the only thing I could eat which was a vegetarian barley risotto. I don't normally eat risottos but there was nothing else for me to order....and it was very nice. Perhaps they could add chicken to the menu for us difficult ones.

Came here few times. Food is always top notch. Yes the service were kinda slow, but still acceptable for us. What really pissed me off this time is the way the security treated us before entering the restaurant. I perfectly understand if a restaurant like Metis needs a security, but please use someone that has a well manered security guard. We spend quite good amount of money to dine here, we don't want to be treated like some terrorists.

Food was good but the service was slow we waited for very long for in btw entre and mains .. our entre of crab bisque were missing the torilini which was disappointing .. service staff was very polite and professional but the wait in btw meals was really long .. we were 21 pax I can understand that could have caused some inconvenience to the kitchen but they shd have been prepared for it since our starters were already pre ordered

I have been four time and will come back again each trip to Bali. It's very a very romantic setting over the rice paddies. Food is faultless. Extensive wine list although needs more options for single glass. Too many different servers they need to allocate sections to waitstaff. I had four different staff attending at different times all were very polite. I've been enough times to know where the best place is to be seated. I look forward to going back.

My husband booked this for my 50th. Have to say it was a big disappointment. Lots of people hanging around, not assisting. I don't eat meat or fish but in no way has that limited me in this amazing place, apart from last night. Risotto on the menu, or I could have risotto made especially for me....
Risotto it was. If you like the horrors of fois gras, this is your place.
Expensive and not worth it.

A must to be seen and thanks for my dear friend Henya who made our evening fantastic. Great food, great service and Such a romantic place. The art and jewellery shops are above what we saw in others shops.

After dîner go to the lounge bar, and have a walk around the garden.

The place was amazing in presentation and the food was fabulous .. but like most of the up market places in Bali the service is woeful... they could learn lessons from the establishments that don't have the ambiance and where the staff go out of their way to make you feel special..

Metis was the most amazing meal my husband and I have ever eaten. The food was made so much more special by the romantic ambiance that was the lights, garden and beautiful wait staff. We would definitely come here again!

The food was nice. But i think the desert (the chocolate lava cake) would be perfect if u put berry coulis or something like that to give balancing of the sweet desert and chocolate.

Fabulous restaurant with beautiful surroundings! The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We had our two year old son with us and the staff were so welcoming towards him. It was the perfect place to be on Christmas Day!
