I attended the Free First Thursday starry nights event where they offer hands on project for kids of... all ages. The staff that they have for this specific event was awesome and extremely helpful with all the children. But everyone else wasn’t. I decided to take a tour with my 3 year old to see the exhibits, as a normal 3 year old she was curious and wanted to touch but when I told her not to she stopped, well that was enough for the security guard to follow us around making us feel very uncomfortable. We decided to leave after such an unpleasant experience. Only to go outside where there is a fountain to the right of the museum, my child wanted to see the water and I sat her down on the side of the fountain, that’s when a security guard came out said that it was private property and that we had to leave, in a very rude manner saying that this was not a park. To summarize, this is not a family friendly establishment , I will not be returning. The 2 stars are only towards the kids event. See More
