Exciting news coming from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration today! Does life exists on Mars now that we have found evidence of liquid water, what do you think? ‪#‎journeytomars‬ ‪#‎neverstopwondering‬

Learn more about the red planet at Arizona Science Center. Dateline Mars is now showing in Dorrance Planetarium daily. Tickets available at the door or online at azscience.org.

New findings from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) provide the strongest evidence yet that liquid water flows intermittently on present-day Mars.

Tonight's eclipse is special as it follows three other total lunar eclipses in the past 18 months (usually you don’t get that many in a row) and the moon will be at its closest point in its orbit to Earth, making it slightly bigger in the sky than usual — an event popularly known as a “Supermoon.”

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter will glide through the shadow of Sunday's supermoon eclipse in an attempt to observe changes in the moon's layers of soil.

Mayor Stanton and Great Start Preschoolers visited Arizona Science Center this morning and even got grossed out! As part of the Great Start Initiative, Mayor Greg Stanton and Arizona Science Center treated more than 80 Phoenix preschoolers and their families to a fun, educational and cultural experience that included the stinky, icky and crusty science found in Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body!

Great Start Initiative gives Phoenix children in Title 1 school districts free admission to several educational and cultural centers before they begin kindergarten. Through the initiative, children and parents start the school year with new experiences and a stronger education foundation of success in the classroom.
