St. Louis

I had my 30th birthday party this past Friday at Helium and we had a blast! The staff was extra accommodating, hooked us up with some awesome food and the comedians were hilarious! We had a little hiccup in plans when we had to cancel our original party scheduled for Friday, December 16 due to severe traffic conditions after freezing rain that came out of nowhere. The manager and group sales rep, Remy, did an awesome job of getting our large group (40+) rescheduled for the following Friday which took a bit of extra work over the weekend during the holidays, a difficult task, yet they were flexible and understanding which we appreciated immensely. They also allowed us to keep our original event deposit since we had no control over the weather and traffic situation which went a very long way with me and my family. Most importantly, we had an awesome time and the comedians killed it. We will definitely be back!

Love this cool cozy and yet also spacious place. Big fireplace a ceiling of skylights and hanging below a chandelier fit for a castle. Food's great, staff friendly, awesome place to sit read write think & even socialize if you like that. What's not to like. I can't think of a thing.

I came there Saturday night the 22nd of October to see BUG CHASER, and I was blown away by the band. I didn't know what to expect because I hadn't seen them for about two years. But they really put on a show! I love the club, you guys have a nice place. The sound was great and loud! The bathrooms were nice, clean and big and they smelled good, what are the odds… LOL Your staff was super friendly! Can't wait to come there again and see another concert. I was super energized when I left.

Great place to party and enjoy local and national music acts. Top notch state of the art sound systems, operated by top notch sound guys. Owners operate for the love of the music. Great Bunch of People. vote Fubar stl.

At first we got off the elevator to go to our room and the carpet looked shabby/worn and we got a bad impression, but then we realized we took the wrong elevators, so we went back across the lobby to the Park Building elevators and were pleasantly surprised when we got out of the elevator to see newer nice carpet and fresh design. Room was spacious and comfortable, but the comforter on the bed had a few tears in it... Best part about the hotel by far is the location and amenities. There is a movie theater in the lobby, several shops, restaurants, nice pool, and the Central West End neighborhood is wonderful to stroll around. Forrest Park is within walking distance, and the Delmar Loop is a few minutes away. Overall great place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for fortune builder Bootcamp. We paid extra to be able to have breakfast included and it totally met our expectations. Our room was awesome! However, we had problems with our toilet over flowing. When we called they were always there to fix it. Note hotel was booked to capacity. Finally after 3 nights it was rather inconvenient to deal with this bathroom issue. So we went to front desk and they found us another room and they gave us a room with a view for our last two nights! We obviously were taken care of given the manager number to call if there were any issues with the new room. The new room was excellent! Unfortunately the safe didn't work! We mentioned it to the front desk however, no big deal we just decided not to have room service one night so we didn't need to worry about our valuables. Good thing because when we asked the house keeper for some extra towels and that she would not need to clean our room she was thankful because she was the only house on our hallway. Apparently they were under staffed. Felt bad for house keeper and tipped her as she gave us two bath towels. Then because we paided for continental breakfast our last morning there they were going to be closed Monday morning the front desk told us we could go to any restaurant in hotel serving breakfast and it would be comped. This hotel trulytook care of our needs and understood the inconvenience we dealt with. No one or no business is perfect but, when you take care of your customer it is all that matters.

This was great! I took my daughter here on our road trip, and we spent the whole day running and climbing. Some advice: 1. Arrange a meeting spot with your kids. There are lots of tight tunnels and passageways that aren't adult-sized. You will get separated periodically. Tell them to go to the meeting spot if they don't see you for 10 minutes. 2. If you plan to go climbing with your kids, don't carry your backpack, etc. with you. Tight spaces. Try to go with more than one adult, so someone can watch your stuff. There might also be a coat/bag check somewhere. 3. The gift shop sells kneepads. Unfortunately I didn't find that out until we were leaving. Have fun. Your kids will sleep well that night.

Been going to the St alouis Zoo all my life and it just gets better and better. Animals seem content, employees appear to love what they do. I like that so much of what goes on is transparent. For example at the Children's Zoo you can see the animals' food being prepared. The St Louis Zoo is more than just a viewing spectacle; it's an all around learning experience. And it keeps growing and improving. Parking can be challenging but that is just a testament to its popularity. Even if you have to walk awhile, enjoy the sights and sounds and smells along the way.

As a Tower Grove and St. Louis City resident I am thankful and proud to have this park as my shared garden. There is EVERYTHING to LOVE about TGP. It's charm rivaled only by Forest Park, there is something so special about our Victorian gem in the heart of our bordering neighborhoods. From the meticulously preserved pavilions to the summer splash pool there is something for everyone. If you want action check out the summer concerts at the grand bandstand. Game of tennis? Yes! Kids restless? Check out TGP's playground selections or find a path and teach them how to navigate that new bike. I adore MoBot but if you want in on a gorgeous gardens at zero cost , Tower Grove Park is the answer. Special occasions and photo opps abound with Piper Palm House and our fabulous fountain! Need to get moving? There are paths galore to ride, walk, run, skate and bike. Along with all of these wonders two of my favorite things are to sit and people watch or just get lost in the middle of the forest and daydream. What are you waiting for? Enjoy!

Norwood always delivers. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was top notch. Always a warm welcoming feeling when one walks into the club. Norwood is a wonderfully carved out paradise that offers some of the best golf in the Midwest area. Love it there!!

Hi, We came to visit today. I haven't been in a few years as I live in the US now. We had an outstanding time. I used to come multiple times a year as a child ( all the way through Dental School!). And now we come any time we are in town. Your staff is superb! From the front desk who welcomed us graciously and were so helpful going above and beyond ( even gave my children Science Center pins) to your hosts. Our first encounter with the young lady showing us puzzles, what an excellent teacher. She had us all working out the solutions from ages 9-44. At every turn your staff was not only willing and anxious to help and educate but they did it with such joy and excitement! We happily spent over half an hour discussing animal and bird skulls and how different yet similar they were. My 12 yr old and I did not want to move on. This happened over and over, we were there until closing. As we were leaving one of your staff casually performed a magic trick pulling a ball from my son's shirt. The look of amazement and wonder hasn't left his face. We attended one of the last electricity demos, my kids did the same things I did at their age. What a wonderful demonstrator you had at the 11:30 show. What a wonderful day we had learning and experiencing science. Please pat your staff on the back for us! My children want to come back tomorrow.

Love love @}---- ♥ Soulard is such a cute area and I recommend it for everybody just be careful after a certain time and come back for Mardi Gras it's a good time.. Any area can be dangerous you just have to be smart but there's always something going on especially if you're an animal lover :-)

The Pageant is a wonderful place for concerts! Having moved from what was a fly over state for the musical entertainment business to St. Louis to have the opportunity to see shows in such an intimate setting is just a dream come true. There is a variety of seating options -you can choose to remained seated through a show in the balcony, or seated at tables below or stand in the pit. There's a place for everyone's style. There are several bars for counter service and a wait staff busting their tails to get through the crowd to serve as well. And if that is not enough, the best part is the show experience. If the band or performer is really bringing it you are treated a show where you feel as if you are a special guest at a private party. The views you get, the sound quality are so much better than a stadium show. I often find the artists also respond better to the setting as well. At the Pageant, they can really see their audience and and respond to the crowd. They can step out of their typical performance routine and converse with the crowd or go acappella and be heard. If given a choice, I would choose to see a show at the Pageant than a big stadium anytime!
